A384MM2's 1/2 Golem template?  It adds to the LA, though.

Q385 Is there any feat or class ability that lets me apply the smae metamagic to a spell more than once? IE applying Widden Spell to a fireball twice to get an area 200% as large as normal?

I believe Half Golem doesn't actually have a listed LA.

A385:  Not generally, though Shadowcraft Mages can double extend their illusions (and the first one is free).

A385: to add to Jaronk's response, thaumaturgists and malconvokers can both effectively extend their spells and also apply extend spell to it as long as it is a conjuration (summoning) spell (and evil for the malconvoker).  So a Cleric 5/Malconvoker 3/Thaumaturgist 3 could double the duration of a summoned (evil) monster three times.

Q386: I'm looking for a way to have about 150 ft of rope thats VERY strong, and fire immune.  I know this sounds odd, but if i pull it off, you'll find out.

Q387: What's the easiest way to obtain and keep a Fiendish Familiar (Fiend Folio pg. 219) without it co-opting my character? Preferably at the earliest level possible, to gain maximum benefit.

I was looking at Planar Binding plus Geas or Monstrous Thrall, but since my character can't cast them himself yet, he'd inevitably have to either wait or risk the duration running out.

+7 Will save and Steadfast Determination. You now cannot fail the Will save for the Ego check. Wiz 2/Master Specialist 1 with Wis 14+ does it at level 3.

Lesser Planar Binding should be able to summon it, if that's what you're worried about.

For earlier results, find a Fiend of Corruption and make a very carefully-worded deal for one.

I'm confused, Steadfast Determination, at least in PHB II, says that you never fail Fort saves on a roll of a 1, not Will saves.

The other part of Steadfast gives Con to Will instead of Wis, so I'm not sure why Wis got brought up.

Sunic may be more abrasive than sandpaper coated in chainsaws (not that its a bad thing, he really does know what he's talking about), but just posting in this thread without warning and telling him he's an asshole which, if you knew his past experiences on WotC and Paizo is flat-out uncalled for. Never mind the insults (which are clearly 4Chan-level childish). You say people like Sunic are the bane of the internet? Try looking at your own post and telling me you are better than him.

Here's a fun fact: You aren't. By a few leagues.

Q388: Does the spellthief steal spell-like ability allow the spellthief to steal a factotum's spells as if they had the potential to be cast (as described under steal spell, since they all are derived from inspiration points) or as if prepared, as if by a wizard?

No, but his ability to steal spell like abilities works fine!  Note that just like stealing any other spell like ability, this does not permanently steal it... as soon as the Spelltheif uses it, the Factotum gets it back.  In this way a Factotum teamed up with a Spellthief can spam spells all day long.

Excellent indeed, thanks for a quick response.  I was considering this for a rogue 8/spellthief 5 with a factotum in the party, for just such a use.

A 388 The RAW is unfortunately unclear. I'd tend to agree with JaronK but the Factotum SLAs do have a weird nature.

Or rather until the Factotum uses his SLAs.

Right, but if the Factotum doesn't burn his spells, the Spelltheif can use them all day long.

Q 351: The spell flame blade says "You wield this bladelike beam as if it were a scimitar."  Does this mean that it has the 18-20 threat range of a scimitar, or is it only there to indicate if you are proficient with it or not?

A 351: That's a tough one. Personally since they specified damage amount, not just type, I'd have to rule that it is for proficiency only, but that is just a ruling, and it could easily be interpreted either way.

Q389: Are there any classes with all Knowledge skills as class skills that would be good one-level dips?

Cleric or Cloistered Cleric with the Knowledge Domain.  Perhaps Archivist.  They get 2, 6, and 4 skill points per level, respectively.
