Q2
when you use a total defense, you cant make attack of opportunities
if you have the feat defensive throw from Cwarrior, can you use total defense with it? it doesnt say it is an AoO but it says "This attempt counts against your allowed attacks of opportunity in the round"
so, does it work?
A2:
"Counts against your allowed attacks of opportunity in the round" sure sounds like it makes it an AoO to me. Doesn't work.
but count =/= is
and thats the only thing it says about AoO unlike other stuff like evasive reflexes which says: "when an opponent gives you a chance to make an attack of opportunity"
but to me it seems that the phrase at defensive throw is just there to limit the uses per round, esp if you consider examples of other stuff too:
you can still power divine feats via turn undead attempts even though you somehow are not allowed to actually turn them, you just use the pool of attempts
also it would have some really really stupid requirements if it would be an AoO cause you can only make 1 AoO per opponent and then combat reflexes would to exactly nothing for this feat, even if you need it for it
