Q6

Any way to share spell-like abilities with a familiar or animal companion? Invocations, specifically. The character has both invocations and an animal companion/familiar, and that is unlikely to change, so it's a matter of trying to force synergies.

From the old thread, since I got no answer there.
So you end up stuck in an endless loop, unable to act, forever.

In retrospect, much like Keanu Reeves.

Still works. Just depends on the context of how you use it.

I'll look into the feat, and also see which of the spells you listed off are wiz/sor.

EDIT: Feat won't work. The prerequisites are very limiting.

Q7: The Sha'ir (Dragon Magazine Compendium, p51) have an odd mechanic for spells known, based on spells retrieved by their gen familiars.  Would a Sha'ir without any divine spells retrieved be able to use a wand of a divine spell from their allowed domain list, or would he need to UMD the wand?

Q8  Does the AC bonus granted from Mage armor stack with other forms of armor. (Sorry if this is a really simple question but I don't have any of my books with me at the moment.)

No. It gives you an armor bonus to AC, basically just like wearing armor. Bonuses of the same type do not stack. Mage Armor isn't actually real armor, and so can't even be further enhanced by something like Magic Vestment, either. You're pretty much stuck with the +4, unless you use one of the higher level versions.

To add to this it also doesn't stack with bracer of armor either. As those are an armor bonus as well, they actually use mage armor as the spell to create the enchantment.
Clerics and Druids are like the 4 and 2 in 42. Together they are the answer to the ultimate question in D&D.
Retire the character before the DM smacks you with the Table as the book will feel totally inadequate now.-Hazren

Q1: What's stopping a Psion from capturing and somehow keeping on his body, enemy Psions, and using their powers (they'd need to be unconscious, of course)? Using Polymorph Any Object + Quintessence, maybe?

A1: The Thrallherd suggestion given by PhaedrusXY is better, but if you want to have the kind of flavor described in your question, you can achieve it with the Body Leech PrC. Just free and retrap those captured Psions as needed. Haul 'em around in a cart/Portable Hole/whatever.

Q9: bump from other thread

Q293:

Is there a way to flurry with a whip? Preferrably via a Feat?
Flurry as in flurry of blows via a monk, or do extra attacks as if you had the Rapid Shot feat for whips?

As in extra attacks so either way :)

Done. Go either Kensai (fighter variant) 2 and Kensai 4 for Rain of Blows and Storm of Blows (-3 for 1 extra attack, -6 for two), or go Lasher 3 and Lasher 8 for Crack of Fate and Crack of Doom (-2 for 1 extra attack, -4 for two). You may have to talk to the DM is you want to try stack them. These stack with Haste, so if you put the Speed property on your armor or shield (MIC), you'll get three 1 round boosts for a swift action each.

Kensai is in Dragon 310, and Lasher is in 3.0's Sword and Fist.

Q10: Per the SRD, temporal acceleration states that: "splintered or partitioned minds within your own mind, such as might be in effect through the use of powers such as schism, are not temporally speeded up, even if your second mind manifested this power." If, however, I manifest schism after manifesting temporal acceleration, can my partitioned mind take actions within that temporal acceleration?

A10: No. It doesn't matter if Schism is manifested before or after Temporal Acceleration. Until the Temporal Acceleration effect ends, the effect generated by Schism cannot be used. Once the Temporal Acceleration effect ends, the effect generated by Schism can be used as normal. Rounds spent in the Temporal Acceleration effect count against the duration of the Schism effect, however.

A7: Seeing as there is such a thing as a Known and an Unknown Divine Spell, I'd say you can use that item.

A 11: Several soulmelds can help, as can a few maneuvers. Blink Shirt soulmeld gives a short range DDoor effect. Phase Cloak gives you etherealness while moving.
A dip into Swordsage at 5th level can give you Shadow Jaunt (teleport 50 feet as a standard action). You can also pick up a boost from Desert Wind that boosts your move speed by 10 feet for a round if you want. There's another Shadow Hand maneuver that gives you invisibility for a round, letting you move about without provoking AoOs.
Anklets of Translocation give you a 10' teleport 2/day as a swift action. They're cheap, too.

Can't. It must be an animal, not a swarm.

Shadow cloak (dotU) gives abrupt jaunt 3/day.

Murders of crows (ToM) have the animal type.  They're a perfectly legit (if weird) base creature.

You might be thinking of the Entomanothrope template, which explicitly disallows swarms.
