Well Tim i was actually talking about myself. I hadn't bothered reading it yet. What we are trying to do has little to do with the fact my main job is to try to keep you guys alive. Well i'm glad you have leet skills 'cause i was getting worried we would have to wing that part.

I don't remember his name but a pioneer of medicine once said the poison is in the dose. Everything is a weapon in some way, or at least gives enough of an advantage that we are just as screwed.

the frenchman chimes in as he smokes his cigarette.

"As for these 'crude' explosives, they have their use, and if we need them I think I can provide them, given some basic ingredients and equipment can be found on the Isle Noir. That is ofcourse, assuming my current supply runs out before we complete the mission."

Tim shrugs.  "I have no code name.  If you feel like coming up with one I find acceptable, feel free.  And I apologize for the misunderstanding."

Meh, shit happens. I don't take offense unless I think it is real personal.

I don't know what would be a good name for you. I'm not that great at name either, how do you think I ended up with Doc.

Recalling a movie she saw long ago Eliana semi-quotes, "Some people call him....Tim." she smirks then adds, "Since he's got such a vast knowledge pool, how about we call him just Skills?"
Come now, you all were thinking it, I just had to be the one to say it first.
Another sigh, but smiling at his bickering associates; he kind of liked this job. Well, enough to make him sit up at least. "Real names are not important; it's not like we are going to work together long, probably. Codenames, we will need. Codename "Heavyarms," I will be your heavy weaponry specialist, which basically mean I kill things with big guns. Is good to meet you all.

It's not important what the damn thing is, we unhook from wall, slap in helicopter, bring back with us. This is just another job, you all know this, is not like it's our first job.... oh god, please say is not your first job..."
He looked honestly worried for a moment, before laughing.

Accepting the first aid kit from Doc, the man shifts uncomfortably in his chair and introduces himself.  "You can call me Cross.  It's probably not my real name anyways..."

Anyone paying attention notices that he's carrying almost no gear that you can see. (you're welcome to a spot check for anyone inspecting the rest of the group)

OOC
I'm having a really hard time finalizing my character.  I know I'm going with a spec-ops trained hand-to-hand combat expert.  The builds that I'm currently thinking about are either: Strong/Soldier with a Martial Artist dip (pointman & tactician), or Strong/Martial Artist with a Traceur dip (charging tripper).  I'm kinda leaning towards the soldier angle, but both routes have their pros and cons.  Any suggestions?
Oh, Jace, here's that earlier d100 roll to see if I knew any of the other frenchies of Plaisir Sadique (needed a 1-20 for a success): 54

Too bad :)
Personally I'd go the Martial Artist route, due to the full BAB. Maybe a 1-level dip into Gunslinger if you want to use that gun in close-quarters...
I just want to say that this is our OOC. There is no reason any of you should be havibng OOC convos behind a spoiler block.

If you guys want to ask question of the Liasion In-Character, that's totally cool. But still treat this like the ooc.

I think it is because we started "practicing" so we would be used to the formatting by the time we get to the game thread. Plus this is also reflecting our time together before we get on a little bitty boat in the big ole ocean.  :bigeye

Knowledge: Arcane Lore (take 10): 12

Isle Noir's original name was R'lyeh!  ;)

Seriously though, I'm having character issues.  I'm gonna sleep on it and figure it out tomorrow when I have time.  Thinking of a few single-level dips with a Fast base now, but unsure...

I'm torn.  I could keep Point Blank Shot which will help out in combat, or I could replace it with that feat in Modern Player's Companion to boost any stat by 1, which would make my Int 20.  Thoughts?

I think it is safe for you to go for the Int. Besides myself the rest of the team is pretty combat focused, so i think you and I mainly just need to be able to hold our own and not get killed. When we are out of combat is when you and I need to shine and show our worth.

thats my thinking but the others may disagree.

Is that the Cross-Training feat that you speak of?

Think of it this way... You're the Smart Character. In character, your PC has invested LARGE amounts of time and education to BE smart. What would HE do if presented with that choice?
