I don't think it will be enough even if i got max on it. that is what sucks. if i had rolled a little higher i would use one, but i don't think it will change the result so why waist it.  Though if you think i'm closer to hitting than i do let me know, i probably won't use all my AP anyway since i'm not used to them.

reviewing the previous stuff i know an AP would be a waist. I missed with a 22 last round on this guy so even a 6 on the AP wouldn't make it a hit.

22? I would stop wasting ammo on the guy and either start autofiring, toss a grenade or two up there, or take away his advantage and move inside the building. He will then need to move off the roof if he wants to shoot. Or someone just climb up there and take his ass out. With the way I have been rolling climb and jump checks though I would say that person shouldn't be me  :D

I'm not debating your tactics one but-- the wording amuses me...

1 bullet a round versus 10 bullets a round for autofire... ;)

well i know i need at least a 19 to hit him or something close with an AP. So i'm just there for suppressing fire right now. I hope Cross and Dove get up there and shank him, a knife to the kidney will do him some good  :twitch

Once we get him dead i'm going to need to patch up the team too, i think about half have been hit so far, too bad Doc doesn't know.

heh yeah I know I was just tossing ideas out. I didn't really think them all through. Though, if they haven't hit the guy yet have to try something different. Right now he is getting to shoot fish in a barrel from his overwatch position.

somewhat of a rules question since i don't know how it would play out. If Doc readies his action to shoot when C pops up to attack would that help to lower his AC any or is it just a waist of time?

Nah-- it won't. A readied action is good for anticipating your foes actions, then trying to get a jump on them... but in this case "C" has 3/4 and is able to shoot from the 1/4 that isn't covered. Does that make sense? It's like if you have 1/2 cover for standing behind a tree or fighting around a corner-- when you make an attack, you are jumping out from cover-- you're just leaning out, so you take advantage of that cover while shooting.

Maybe I should just fire a grenade at his area and hope it takes him down. My highest roll was a total 20, which apparently missed his punk ass. Lets just nuke the roof and get it done. If noone hits him by the end of the round, that's what I'm doing, agreed?

Do it, my initiative comes after you, so once you bomb him I'll be climbing up there to take away his advantage.

I got a PM from dark samurai-- he just got back from his trip recently and is finalizing his PC to play. He will have been in the rafts with you guys this whole time, BTW.

Um any word from Dark Samurai? Is he waiting for the battle to end to really join in?

Dark Samurai hasn't contacted me since PMing me this:

Hey Jace,

So here is what I have for my guy so far in terms of mechanics (I didn't know how stressed for time the whole operation was). I didn't have enough time to stat out possessions (let's just assume about 5 knives, bolas, compound bow & 20 arrows, an undercover vest and a quick bomb-disarming kit) and back story (I'll get that to you later today if that's okay). The quick for his back story is he studied physical sciences during his academic days of being at a university (funded through a ROTC-esce program within Serbia). He then worked for the Red Berets until he fled (before they were all prosecuted). Now he works as a drop man, in which he's dropped far away from a mission point to avoid radar and completes a mission (so somewhat like Metal Gear Solid 3: Snake Eater). With that much said, here he is:

Sergei Kojadinovi? Dedicated Hero 3/Infiltrator 1; HD 3d6+6/1d8+2; hp 27; Mass 14; Initiative +1; Spd 30 ft.; Defense 17; touch 14; flatfooted 13 (+1 Dex, +3 class, +3 armor [-2 ACP]); BAB +2; Grp +4; Atk: +4 melee (1d4+2, lethal, 10ft.; knife) or +3 ranged (1d8+2; lethal; 40ft.; compound bow); FS 5ft; Reach 5ft; Al Lawful Neutral; SV Fort +4, Ref +4, Will +4; AP 7; Rep +2; Wealth + ; Str 15, Dex 12, Con 14, Int 16 (+1 at 4th), Wis 14, Cha 8
Occupation: Military (Hide, Move Silently and Personal Firearm Proficiency)
Skills: Disable Device +8, Hide +8, Knowledge (Physical Sciences) +7, Knowledge (Tactics) +9, Listen +9, Move Silently +9, Read/Write (English and Serbo-Croatian), Speak (Arabic, English and Serbo-Croatian), Spot +9 and Survival +11
Feats: Archaic Weapon Proficiency, Armor Proficiency (light), Personal Weapon Proficiency, Quick Draw, Simple Weapon Proficiency, Skill Emphasis (Survival), and Track [1st]
Talents (Dedicated Hero): Skill Emphasis (Survival) and Aware.
Talents (Infiltrator): Sweep
Possessions: 5 knives, a bolas, a compound bow & 20 arrows, an undercover vest and a quick bomb-disarming kit.

And that is pretty much that last I heard from him.

If he doesn't contact me, or start posting or whatever at least by the end of the battle-- then he's effectively out. I'll have to assume that he's either too busy to play or just not that interested.

In Other News...

Yesterday was a very stressful day at work and on top of that my 80-something year old grandfather went under the knife yesterday to fix a hernia. I ended up with a stress-migraine that lasted from last night through this AM. When I woke up to post EARLIER today, I ended up spending my time in the bathroom puking and being dizzy instead...

So I JUST woke up a second time, and my neck muscles are super tense, but the headache is gone-- I'll try to wrap up the round, and get the next one posted.

I am Off Work today, and I will be posting through out as needed.

Thanks-- yeah I'm feeling a little more human now, and my mother let me know she had talked to him and that the surgery went well. So that is good, I worry about the old guy. My grandmother, his wife, died a week before Christmas this past year after a long battle with Alzheimer's  Disease. So it's been a rough year, to say the least.

But yeah... doing better myself today, and I'm about to start typing up the round end and posting the start of the next.
