Q149: Other than Choker abuse, what are some cool abilities to snag with Assume Supernatural Ability?
A 149

A Beholder's antimagic eye or eye rays are pretty snazzy. Shaedling's Shadow Gossamer is obvious, and not recommended.

Q 150 Just advanced an Iron Golem to maximum HD, and it says the theoretically it should have 19 feats, but I see none listed. Do constructs not get any?

Mindless creatures (i.e. creatures with no Intelligence score, such as an iron golem) do not get feats or skill points.

That would definitely explain it.

Is there a way to make a construct no longer mindless, short of being a warforged?

Mindless creatures can still have bonus feats or racial skill bonuses, though.  An iron golem advanced to maximum HD sounds like a custom job, you might bump up the market price and creation requirements and give it some bonus feats if you like.

That RAW or would that be homebrew? It's for a tournament one-shot and I need CR 20+. I'm advancing it because it's currently CR 13 and that's not going to cut it.

Mindless creatures being able to have bonus feats and racial skill bonuses is RAW.  Giving them to a max-HD iron golem is more of a DM adjudication thing.

You could give Scarecrow a brain with the Awaken Construct spell in Savage Species, but he'd no longer be a construct, and he'd only get skills and feats for the HD he gained after being awakened.

Incarnate Construct template perhaps?

That's not a template though. That's a spell. Much like Awaken for animals and plants.

Q146
I seem to remember a feat somewhere that gives greater utility to extra limbs -- does anybody have a clue?
I'm looking to be able to use a draegloth's secondary arms for attacks.
bump?

If you stop ignoring 289 pages telling what the intent is to stretch "more power" in your own god complexion of your interpretation trumps all to cover ability adjustments from aging then I will ignore a quarter page of rules that exist within a sidebar.
I think in this case the grammar is less important than whether the Str and Dex bonus provided to your created undead scales.

That should be somewhere in Savage Species. I didn't know that you couldn't attack with those limbs. Unless you're talking about multiple weapons. Then Multiattack, and Multiweapon might be what you're looking for.

it only gets 2 attacks, but has 4 arms.  the description basically says that the other 2 arms are pretty-much only used for menial tasks. :shrug

Okay. I re-read it, did a Google search, and voila.

Functional Limbs [Monstrous]
Your lower limbs strengthen and lengthen.
Prerequisite: Draegloth, Str 20
Benefit: You may now make unarmed attacks with your second set of arms for 1d4 non lethal damage, or for wielding weapons, however, all unarmed and armed attacks made with these hands take a -5 penalty. When making grapple attempts, you gain a +2 bonus when using all four limbs at once. You may wield weapons with these arms as a medium creature.

but hey -- looks cool to me.  In the immortal words of Mills Lane (or at least his Celebrity Deathmatch persona): "I'll allow it!"

Q151
Let's assume I'm a human Bard5.  The group's Wizard scribed me a CL5 scroll of haste.  Bards get level 3 spells at Bard7 while Wizards get level 3 spells at Wizard5.

I start reading the scroll and I have no UMD.  Does the scroll work?  If not, why?

I know that a wand of haste would work since the spell is on my class list.

I ask since the Spell Completion Item Section was ambiguous.
Hood - My first answer to all your build questions; past, present, and future.

Speaking of which:
Don't even need TO for this.  Any decent Hood build, especially one with Celerity, one-rounds [Azathoth, the most powerful greater deity from d20 Cthulu].
Does it bug anyone else that we've reached the point where characters who can obliterate a greater deity in one round are considered "decent?"

Q153 What is the best hammer flavor weapon for a medium sized creature?  In particular, a Azer gem craftsman.
