"Yes, thank you." Nax responded. Turning to the two kalashtar, he replied, "It appears we can at least trust your word that this place was wiped clean from your hand. As for what will be left for salvage, that is not my decision alone to make, but I trust my comrades will have your best interests at heart once they go through the pile."

The kalashtar grimace, glancing at each other. Oblivious, the dread warrior begins describing the objects. "This item is the control for the ectoplasmic wall. There are several projectors linked to it which outline the wall that you would need to gather from the cliffs in order to move it. This item is a communications node for the local telepathic network used by the Dreaming Dark through which this outpost received orders and alerts. This item generates an illusory map of the terrain for a mile in all directions with major landmarks. And this set of items is a pair that allows one wearer to telepathically communicate with the other and use psionic effects through the items, which were often used by our sentries and scouts. It is the only complete pair in the outpost, as the others would be useless without their counterparts.

[spoiler] [/spoiler]Felix says "We already have such a map-projector onboard the Judas, although I wouldn't know how ours compares in quality with this one. I'm sure Eddie or Lemmy might be interested in it, though, at least to compare them."

Looking at the communications node, he says "I guess this is what we'd be projecting our concert through, then? Perhaps we should being preparing for that. I'd suggest we leave the shield generator in place for now, and establish a scouting network of our own immediately, if our new allies don't already have one."

Lucy briefly looks at the scattered corpse in surprise... then, she starts crying. Running up to Mikkey (and stepping on what appears to have once been part of the man's spleen on the way), the girl starts pounding him with her fists and yells, "You broke him! You broke him! Go fix him now!"

Looking somewhat surprised and somewhat uncomfortable, not really knowing how to deal with the situation at hand Mikkey just shrugs and says "Sorry Lucy, but I'm no priest or necromancer. Maybe Eddie's Death Priestess can help?"

"She's already on the way. Don't worry Lucy, we'll have him better than new before you know it."

As if on cue, a skinny, pale-skinned teenage girl with dark circles under her eyes walks out onto the deck of the ship, blinking her eyes at the sunlight and says "So like... what do you want?"

[Agita]

When the  the Death Priestess comes out into the sunlight, Lucy's eyes grow wide. Leaving Mikkey alone, she runs over to the girl and asks, "Are you an Elmo?"

[spoiler][/spoiler]Eddie says "Enough with the jibber jabber, you useless bag of flesh! Question that corpse... and then animate it for Lucy as a plaything. And then go hide somewhere so I don't have to look at you anymore."

The "girl" says "Yes, Oh Great Master!" with a voice that quivers with an obedient fervor bordering on ecstasy and then she falls upon her knees in the bloody mess and begins casting spells upon the corpse.

"Our scouting network is unfortunately more limited in scope than that of the Inspired...but it might provide some useful information. What would you have them do?" The less grim of the pair tilts his head.

The corpse's chest rises and falls ever so slowly, and a faint whisper of a voice emerges from its lips. "What...do you...want with me?"

"Oh, right. Murray can probably provide quite a bit of intelligence detail for your network. Thankfully, in his newfound undeath, he is less likely to be picked up by the Inspired, if at all. But we shouldn't take chances. Shall we head back?"

[Bozwevial]

"If you're finished here, then I would say so. We shouldn't linger here."

"Well, the original purpose of coming here was corroborating your story anyway. Let us head back."

The kalashtar find a crate nearby to hold all the devices Nax's new friend gathered and head to the mouth of the tunnel, peering around warily.

The pale girl speaks to the corpse "Why were you onboard our ship?"

The corpse replies slowly, "I was...trying to steal the ship."
