Nax, Mikkey Dee, and Lucy's companion:
The oppressive dust makes it difficult for anyone to see much past the ship, but you all manage to see several pinpricks of light on the side of the mountain peaks. The lights seem to be flashing in sequence, as though someone were communicating with them.
"Lem, do you see that?" the bugbear says as he squints his eyes.

"Looks like they're using lights to communicate..."

He could boost these by +4 if given a minute to manifest Call to Mind, if it helps.
It's an old Imperial code. :P

The code is based off of a primitive method of communicating in Common through flashing lights (sort of like Morse code), but has been adapted to the Quori language. A few seconds of watching the latest light reveals the latter half of a word that could possibly be "ship," followed by "investigate."

I don't think we do, but it is hard to keep up with all the crap that's on this ship. :P We should consider getting a Forbiddance effect put on the whole thing, though.  :smirk

Damn, it's nearly been a month. Sorry about that, guys...I'll try to keep things moving smoothly from now on, assuming you're still here.
The dust cloud around the ship gradually dies away, revealing a pair of tall figures a moderate distance from the ship. Goggles and facewraps obscure their features, but their movements are graceful and poised as they walk slowly and in a non-threatening manner towards the airship.

Onboard the ship, Eleanor watches the approaching figures with slight worry.
"Should we take steps to mask my presence again?"

The figures stop a short distance away from the ship. In unison, both of them perform a strange gesture, presenting their hands before them, palms upward. They make no further movement towards the Judas.
A DC 10 Knowledge (local) check indicates that you recognize this as a kalashtar greeting. (The DC is intentionally low--this isn't really specialized knowledge, since virtually everyone has had the opportunity to meet a kalashtar before.)
