I think we're ready to go. I realize now that the psicrystal(s) can take the Ring Gate with them by putting it in the Enveloping Pit... So they can sneak in, find the broadcast controls, open the pit, and then we can send in people/cast spells/etc through the Ring Gate to start our concert. I think I'll send both psicrystals in and have them split up, to cover more ground quickly. I think they're easy to replace, right Boz? I forget what you said on that...

So want to start sending in the shadows, Nax? They can just hop on the Jaunting Platform to dimension door into/onto the tower. I think we should tell them to try to sneak around and start killing workers to generate more shadows at first. Then we sit back and watch the fireworks, while Probe sneaks in under cover of the mayhem to try and find the monolith control room.

Think your man Murray might be able to give us a general idea where in the monolith the control room might be?

We should probably also Scry on Anna (using our at-will Scrying pool... WTF doesn't this ship have?) to see when hell breaks loose back at the first camp, and time our little "invasion" to coincide with that, if possible.  :smirk

Right, psicrystals, familiars, and animal companions don't cause you to lose XP if they die and can be replaced by 24 hours of meditation or whatever you want to do.

Murray's not familiar with the precise location of the control room, but he does know that it's likely to be in the center of the monolith, close to the top. (Presumably you would have asked him earlier.)

I think being turned into a shadow still leaves a corpse, right? So we could just retrieve her corpse, nuke all the shadows from orbit, and then resurrect her. Right? :D

That's an excellent question. Also, I think that altar of yours works on people who have been raised as undead.
