You know, given Eddie's backstory about having been the creation of a powerful Thrallherd who went to the trouble of Mind Seeding him, modifying his memory and "programming him", killing him, reanimating him, and Haunt Shifting him... I kept thinking "if the guy put that much of an investment, why would he ever get rid of it?" And how would Lemmy get his hands on it? Then I came up with the perfect solution:

He lost the ship (and Eddie) to Lemmy in a card game!  :lol

It's perfect because this kind of shit happens in real life all the time. People get drunk/caught up in gambling, are sure they're going to win, and bet things that they wouldn't dream of parting with otherwise. And then lose them.

It should also make for some great fun RPing it. :D
