There's some homebrew ones here. Sturgeon's Law applies, though.
Yeah, I remember seeing those. I wonder if Boz will allow them? This one would be perfect. :D

Quote
Reincarnated Misfortune

Things in this life remind you of things from your last, and these things make you sad.

Prerequisite: None

Effect:
From time to time, the character sees something that reminds him of his former lives. At the start of every encounter, there is a 5% chance that he notices something that causes him to recall his past. If this happens, he takes no action for 1 round and thereafter takes a ?2 morale penalty on all attacks and skills until the encounter is resolved.

Benefit:
Bonus Feat
Of course his "former life" in his case would be his life before he was mindwiped. :D

This one would be pretty awesome, too, although technically he doesn't meet the prereq (though RAI he does :p ).
Quote
Command Word

You have a command word that controls you, everyone who knows the command word have control over your actions.

Prerequisite:
Living Construct or Construct

Effect: When someone speak your command word he can direct order to you. Treat this as a Suggestion spell (8th level caster).

Benefit: A Bonus Feat
It's not like you could claim that these don't have serious drawbacks, either.  :)

I actually played a warforged with a Command word once, but it was just for RPing effect. He didn't get a bonus feat or anything. The way we did it then was that you could take control of him with the command word, which caused him to recognize you as his master from then on, and follow any commands you gave. You could also say a certain word that would cause him to "shut down" for emergencies, and it was also possible to reprogram the command word via a series of other words, in case someone learned it that shouldn't. It was a lot of fun.

You have an air elemental bound, right? And thus, the binding ring is surrounded by high-speed winds? Make it out of pandemoniac silver. :smirk

Tier 5: An expert cartographer or a decent marksman.
Tier 4: An expert marksman.

I think we went with the Fire Elemental option because it's just more metal :P

But what does this pandemoniac silver do?

Woooo! Now I think I'm probably going to regret that command word... or maybe my team mates will... :lmao

Any thought about what the command word will be yet?

Er... no... Let's do it like I suggested above, with one command word to just assume control in general, another emergency shut down word, and then a series of "reprogramming" commands that let you change the command word, in case of a "security breach". :p

We should make it something obscure, so there is little to no chance of it ever being uttered by accident by someone. Heck, I guess it could even be a made up word.

Or a phrase... how about this? "Why don't you pass the time with a game of solitaire?" while holding up an ace of diamonds.  :lmao

I propose we make the command word "Swordfish!". That is, an actual exclamation, as if you were calling for someone named Swordfish. Perhaps with some kind of mispronounciation.

EDIT: Or perhaps a string of numbers, letters, and words, with the actual command word being "Sorry, I forgot the password".

EDIT 2: Or some variation on "Shut up and do what I'm telling you to!"

So... I'd like to stick at least a few things on the airship for Eddie to animate, to help with defenses if we get boarded or something. He can in theory animate up to 10 Huge animated objects, but I think that's probably going a bit overboard. :D So I was thinking that we could stick maybe 1 or 2 huge iron statues on there for him to animate, and then he could use the rest for animating ropes and rugs to grapple people, etc. I think rugs would work pretty well, actually. They could be huge, but still not take a lot of room on the ship, and would be good for grappling and blinding creatures, per the animated object rules.

For the statue(s), something like a huge centaur or wemic with a spiked chain would be cool. :D

Edit: Eh, their attack bonuses are going to be crap, so I might as well just go with a bunch of rugs and ropes that grapple/constrict/blind people and then toss them overboard. Giant statues would take up too much room/weight, anyway. So we need at least ten rugs that are 15 feet long and wide, or so, and some long ropes. I'd think this stuff should be pretty normal for a luxury ship.

Weight? Dude, this thing can airlift 30 tons ;)

As for BAB, wouldn't a decent Strength score make up for at least some of that.

And when you're running out of things to animate, you can always animate the Ballistas for a nice automated defense system :P

30 tons isn't really that much when you're talking about a 20 foot tall solid iron statue. :D I estimate it would weigh about 70-80 tons, actually, and that's if it was man-shaped. A centaur would weigh more.

I think I'll just stick with using rugs/ropes/ballista/etc.

Yeah, never really thought about the solid thing...

I was compairing it more to a Warforged (increasing the weight as comparable to the new size ofcourse), those aren't too heavy.
My bad :)

It would stink in combat, anyway. A huge animated object has a total attack bonus of +9.  :rollseyes My psicrystal could totally kick its ass (when Metamorphed into a hydra...). :D

Speaking of Lucy by the way, anything she has in common with the Elfen Lied character aside from her name and general appearance maybe?

General appearance is actually more similar to Mariko's. Aside from that, I guess that she's a psychopath?
All in all, aside from her name, she's really more of a Mariko Expy.

If we're gonna go automated defense system, how about be put random weapons in every room to attack intruders?

A Siege Weapon in every room? That's 10 square ft. at least per weapon...

Spell Turrets are nice to save up some of our Landlord cash for in the future :)
