Move to a different city!
Yeah, because that's a viable option. :rollseyes  Who says that where I end up it'll be any better?
Leave Canada. It helps. Move to one of the gaming capitals in the north americas somewhere. Pittsburgh I strongly advise against, simply because it's the Armpit of America.
I thought that was Cleveland.
Can't be a human binder now. I'm supposed to be Lawful, and binders don't really like that.
Umm... what? Is this some kind of mandate from the DM? Binders don't have any alignment requirements.
[spoiler]
A couple of water benders, a dike, a flaming arrow, and a few barrels of blasting jelly?

Sounds like the makings of a gay porn film.
...thanks

You could look at it like that.

Alignment: Although vestiges were once beings of light and darkness like all creatures of the planes, their long existence in a strange state beyond normal reality has twisted them into enigmatic and amoral entities. However, their nature does not dictate the alignments of those who bind to them. A fearsome and violent vestige can lend its powers to a good binder, who uses them to make peace with enemies.
Conversely, a sweet-faced and kind vestige might grant an evil binder the power to wreak havoc. In some cases, the same vestige might make separate but simultaneous pacts with two binders who are in direct conflict with one another. Vestiges are not easily defined as good, evil, lawful, or chaotic, but their unfathomable mindsets and strange appearance often disturb lawful and good creatures. Thus, most binders are neutral, chaotic neutral, chaotic evil, or neutral evil.
I reject your reality, and substitute my own.

It says MOST, not ALL. It's bad enough that he's forcing an alignment on you...

There is even a binder prestige class that specifically has a section about how it works when you multiclass with it and Paladin!

Said PrC also requires you to be non-chaotic.

Move to a different city!

Go ahead and tell me with a straight face that it could be worse.

Oh I know it says most, not all. As for the Paladin thing, he'd just say "Oh, well then it'll work well with a Paladin of Slaughter." You know, because that's probably what they meant.  :rollseyes

@ BeholderSlayer -- A wizard with maybe 11 levels, in a 20+ level game isn't going to be all that effective.

@ Agita -- I could not only do it with a straight face, I could give you examples. I'm not the only person that rants about DMs. WotC forums are full of people who live in the US, Australia, Europe, and other countries with DMs they'd like to see sauteed up.
I reject your reality, and substitute my own.

Yeah, but amonst all that I've ever seen, yours is a legend.
The mind transcends the body.
It's also a little cold because of that.
Please get it a blanket.

I wish I could read your mind,
I can barely read mine.

"Just what do you think the moon up in the sky is? Everyone sees that big, round shiny thing and thinks there must be something round up there, right? That's just silly. The truth is much more awesome than that. You can almost never see the real Moon, and its appearance is death to humans. You can only see the Moon when it's reflected in things. And the things it reflects in, like water or glass, can all be broken, right? Since the moon you see in the sky is just being reflected in the heavens, if you tear open the heavens it's easy to break it~"

Lankybugger's DM was argubably worse.

Who?

Behind door number 3: 4d6 giant bees, and THREE HUNDRED POUNDS OF HONEY!
They don't/haven't, was the point. 3.5 is as dead as people not liking nice tits.

Sometimes, their tits (3.5) get enhancements (houserules), but that doesn't mean people don't like nice tits.

Though sometimes, the surgeon (DM) botches them pretty bad...

I'm almost afraid to ask...
Almost.
What DM could be worse than kevin's?
