Let me see...

Touch of Captivation: That's fine, and so is anything from the ECS (all Eberron books), for future reference. Perhaps I should have said cross-campaign material.
Yay.

Heartstones: I'm tempted to draw the line here, but only because of the really, really cheap price. If you can convince me otherwise, though, I'm all ears.
Fine with me. I could do without Etherealness at will though (9th level spell at will? What were they thinking - nothing, of course), all I really want is the cheap +2 to saves. >_> I guess the disease thingy is kinda neat too.

Fractional BaB/Saves: No.

Too bad, but oh well. Makes my BAB +5 instead of +7, then.

Oh, well, if you want the save bonus, go right ahead and buy one. (And if you must use the Etherealness...use it sparingly, okay? >_>)

We're all experienced gamers here, I think a gentleman's agreement should work nicely indeed :)

Also, +2 to saves?

Is this that Hag Stone thingy?
I think I'll get one as soon as I have the money :P

Don't you have like 3k left? It's only 1,800 gp.

Also, yay. Gentlemen's agreement works for me. I'm not exactly a gentleman, but I think I can pass for one when it comes to agreements. ;)

Especially when it prevents us getting our asses handed to us by cheesy tricks :P

Speaking of cheesy tricks, how about items that give uneven enhancement bonuses to stats, like Gloves of Dexterity +1?

It never really made sense that there were Tomes that gave odd bonuses and slotted items that didn't. Fine by me.

Cool.

Anyone care to look over my equipment and feats and give tips? The feats are pretty solid for now I think, but I'm unsure about the equipment.

For reference, the sheet is here. Haven't thought of a name yet, the Height/Weight is blank because... well, I don't deal with kids much, so I dunno what the average height/weight is for a 6-year old girl. >_> Maybe just use the Halfling racial tables?

Feats:

Lvl 1: Point Blank Shot (Prereq for Precise Shot)
Human: Precise Shot (-4 to hit makes little antichrist cry. Even if it's touch attacks.)
Flaw (Noncombatant): Able Learner (Figuring out skills would be a pain in the ass without this)
Flaw (Vulnerable): Mortalbane (Extra damage)
Lvl 3: Touch of Captivation (Prereq for Mindbender, will be retrained when/if I get Charm either next level or through a feat at 12)
Lvl 6: Mindsight (Hi, my name is radar. Nice to meet you.)
Lvl 9: Flyby Attack ('Cause I can fly. Also, the handbook said this is a good feat. Handbooks are like TV, they're always right.)

Equipment (Mundane stuff excluded):

Chasuble of Fell Power and Con +1 - 19,500 gp (To become legacy item when I want to enter Legacy Champ. Chasuble is a Neck slot item, so I slapped a Con +1 item onto it)
Cloak of Charisma +4 - 16,000 gp (For saves, UMD and face skills)
Gloves of Dexterity +1 - 1,000 gp (Because my Dex is uneven - +1 to hit, AC, Ref saves, a bunch of skills, and Init)
Circlet of Persuasion - 4,500 gp (Face Skills, UMD)
Ring of Sustenance - 2,500 gp (No need for food and drink, and only 2 hours of sleep. Nothing to say she can't still enjoy her sweets. Also, she gets to bug the others to wake up 2 hours after they've gone to sleep. That alone is gold, there.)
Bag of Tricks, Gray - 900 gp (Utility, trap bait, cute furry animals)
Glamerweave Traveller's Outfit - 101 gp (Diplomacy bonus. There's another outfit in S:CoT that gives +2 instead, but it's not like I'm a fashion whore, right? >_>)
Heartstone - 1,800 gp (Cheap resistance bonus to saves, practically immunity to disease. What do you mean, it also does something else?)
+1 Mithral Chain Shirt - 2,100 gp (I dunno...)
Wand of Power Word Pain - 750 gp (To be honest, I'm starting to run out of ideas. PWP rolls a bunch of dice, so I thought it might be nice with the 2nd level Hellfire 'Lock ability)

848 gp left.

Looks fine to me. I have no problem with the legacy item, just remember that there has to be a founding event first.  ;)

Yeah, I know. I've got two more levels to worry about that. Knowing PbP's pace, that could be a year or more. I've already cooked up a cool backstory based on Hilf Mir that ought to provide some excuse(s) for founding events. :D

I'm currently posting, actually. Writing up my background as I go, so it might still take a while, but it should be done soon enough.

Still taking advice on magic items, btw. And names. I still don't have a name. There's sample names for PCs from the Five Nations in, appropiately, Five Nations, but is there anything similar for the Demon Wastes?

Darn, background might take a little more time than I expected... I was going to have the essence of a fiend (exact nature would be up to Boz to decide) trapped in the Chasuble of Fell Power (which would also be my excuse for making it a legacy item later). Just the essence, so nothing actually sentient... for now. I can't quite make it work with the rest of what I have, though.

Say, Boz?

I think I've found a way to make my character work as an Artificer, even within budget constraints, but it'll involve some cheese...(and I won't be able to post the rebuild 'til somewhere next weekend)

I can pull it off if you let me (ab)use Polymorph to gain toolbox spellcasting :P

It's RAW, but since it can get pretty nasty I figured I'd ask first ;)

Also, it will benefit the entire party due to severely reduced crafting costs :D

Hmm...Give me an outline of what you plan to do, and I'll give it a fair examination.

Well, my basic problem with my original Artificer draft of 'Lemmy' was that I couldn't include all the useful 'toolbox' spells.
Basic BC, some Debuff rays and some group Buffs, your basic GOD wizard, since we don't have a full arcane caster in the party.

I couldn't do that within the confines of my budget though, especially if I wanted basic magic weapons, armor, save boosters and stat boosters as well.

That's the reason I switched to Wizard, not entirely the flavor I was going for though, but at least it let's me pick up the role of the missing arcane caster.

So I just thought of using Persistent Draconic Polymorph to gain the spellcasting of something like an Ethergaunt (FF) or a Hobgoblin Warsoul (MM5), both of them cast as 9th level wizards.
This would get me all those toolbox spells with the cost of only a single magic item, meaning I can still fit in the other necessary stuff and I can play my original Artificer idea (which would help with the flavor I originally was going for and it would benefit the party immensely as well due to reduced crafting cost and time).

By the way, I'm ofcourse willing to limit it to one such use of Polymorph a day, as to prevent abuse in the form of 50 spell lists to burn per day, assuming you take it easy on the Dispel crap ;) :P

Agreed on those conditions. Just remember the gentleman's agreement, and look out for Dispels. ;)

Just kidding, there won't be too many of those.

Maybe.

Should have a rebuild ready next weekend, thanks :D
