1) Granted, but you'd better be pretty damn devoted.  :P

2) I'm sure we can work something up here.

Bowen, here's a little thread that may help you with ideas on how to make the airship cheaper.

Btw, I'm beginning to get a feeling we'll end up being something like the Oblivion Folder band from Dominic Deegan.

Nooooo I needed the artificer!

Oh well. I'm ditching the astral driftmetal, I don't need AC 32 against touch attacks, like, at all. My AC is already high as hell. My +1 Halfweight Mechanus Gear should carry my through.

So I've got a Keen Greatsword for Blood In The Water, I've got constrict while grappling, what do you guys think I should add on?

I know I need a CL 6 item of continuous or at-will Flicker, will you let me get that, boz? My calculations state that it should cost CL(6) x Mystery level (3) x 4 (Duration expressed in rounds) x 2000 gp, which totals to...144,000? What the fuck? Dammit. I won't get that for a while. Now I wish I was a Mysterious Swordsage

EDIT: Also, how much money does landlord grant? how do I get more money?

EDIT2: Okay, so it doesn't grant money, but it IS useful. Lemme just read up on this...

25k at level 9, 50k total to spend at level 10.

Okay, about the Artificer thing...

Not gonna happen.

I just can't balance my budget between gear, wands and other stuff, even with super cheap Artificer-crafting...

So, probably gonna go with a ranged Gish, Fighter/Wizard or something...
Say, what do you think about Elder Evil devotion and retraining of the bonus feats that grants, Boz? I could also pay for the DCFS spells :P

You sure Bowen? You might start weak(er) but thats not crippling for a Tier 1 character and you get most of it back fast. Especially if you levy an extra fee on treasure against transport in your magic bus .. err airship.

Meh, Wizard get's me most of what I want at level 10 anyways, Artificer was mostly for Eberron flavor :)

Is Leadership kosher? I can have my cohort be the artificer roadie/bandmanager for the whole group if thats cool. Once I PM you Boz about some reflavouring I'll have my sheet up.

Could we just start building the airship, and then once we level up, upgrade it to the way that we want it?

Also, anyone have some suggestions as to what I should buy? Crowns of the White Raven are obvious, anything else?

We could start with the airship already, just like a normal airship, and add improvements as we gain wealth. We don't have to pimp it out right from the start.

EDIT: Dastana don't stack with Mechanus Gear.

I'm still undecided between gish and warlock, but after re-watching some of my Elfen Lied DVDs, I'm gravitating towards a CE 6-year old Warlock. :D

I vote gish, but that's because I've seen several VERY poorly built/played warlocks. Go Eldritch Disciple?

Well I'm going for a Lancer gish who's a bit off his rocker. Imagine Deadpool or Richard the Warlock from LFG with a lantern as his moral compass and who attacks his enemies from 50+ feet in the air while riding his halbred like a pogo stick. :D

Something just came to mind... Someone should totally play a Cloistered Cleric with a ten-year old Bard cohort. The song? Halleluja:smirk

You know what would be the best build ever? A dwarf Psion who used expansion and the various electrical attacks to smite his enemies. He would be represented by any Amon Amarth song, and he would be Oden.
