finished how to loose friends,  i will go say 7 of 10... about on par with run fat boy...

watched the wrestler yesterday, i have to agree with all the hype about mickey... 8 of 10 i would have gone 9 if some of the supporting roles had been better..

My wife wants me to go see Mama Mia with her on the weekend!   :twitch

On a more positive note, I just saw Wall-E.  I immediately dug out my d20 Apocalypse book and figured out how to stat up the setting and how I'd start a campaign that began towards the end of the movie.  :p

I just saw the movie Hancock and liked it a lot.

I saw the new Underworld last night. It was enjoyable, but there were quite a few issues I had with the plot. Also, one has to wonder where they got all those leather pants and trench coats in the middle ages.

I saw Taken last night. The Trailer explains PERFECTLY what to expect from the movie. If you thought the trailer looked good, check it out. You'll like it. I did.

I saw underworld an hour or so ago, and I got to say it was good but the lighting could of been better way better.  I understand most of it does take place at night and it's supposed to have a very dark feel, but when you can barely see whats going on most the time it really detracts from the movie.

Just saw the Wrestler.  If our a wrestling fan theres a lot of cameos (look for the Necro Butcher match).

And Marisa Tomei is hot.  Hotter than the no name actress half her age who gets naked.

As in "I would deep fry my coworkers in batter and feed them to the Amish for a chance at her" hawt.

Surprising considering i traditionally dont like her films

Was the movie itself any good? I intend to see it as I have heard a lot of good about it, but what did you think?

Mickey Rourke is actually the only thing that gives me doubts about it...

not yet, but she just gets topless in it.  In Wrestler she has tats and nipple rings and does a few lapdances and strip tease  :bounce

Was good for a drama (im not a fan of dramas normally).  I was surprised it wasnt bleaker considering as it's an Aronofsky film.  I will warn you it's a bit depressing.  It's a very harsh unflinching look at the underbelly of indie pro wrestling.

Mickey Rourke is actually the only thing that gives me doubts about it...

People forget he was a pretty good actor before he went downhill and did all the low budget sleaze films.  He played a very convincing washed up 80's wrestler, right down to the wrestling style.  Someone in charge of hte film knows quite a bit about pro wrestling and its history

I haven't seen it, does it do the book justice? More importantly, does it do Neil Gaiman justice?

Okay, this is not a movie, but a miniseries. In spite of that, I am going to recommend it.

A nice British TV series called Dead set. It tells about a Big Brother house, but suddenly everyone outside the house turns into zombies! Only five episodes, but it's an amazing run.
