Dread Witch is a 5 level PrC, aka it fits nicely after any base5/PrC10 build.
A hair cheaper than the 8 mentioned before...

Hm. Well even if this were from scratch, Artificers are very PRC unfriendly. Same reason as Druids - lose more than you gain (or it's a Planar Shepherd, either way).

Sunic may be more abrasive than sandpaper coated in chainsaws (not that its a bad thing, he really does know what he's talking about), but just posting in this thread without warning and telling him he's an asshole which, if you knew his past experiences on WotC and Paizo is flat-out uncalled for. Never mind the insults (which are clearly 4Chan-level childish). You say people like Sunic are the bane of the internet? Try looking at your own post and telling me you are better than him.

Here's a fun fact: You aren't. By a few leagues.

Now compare to say... an Artificer, who gets a +30 item for 37.5% or less cost,  ...
Your first post says nothing about your class, race, books allowed, etc.

That post follows the idea of using an artificer, not that you are one.

Excuse me for chiming in about a PrC that bypasses fear immunities when the subject turns to paladins ignoring fear. Please post details on your end to create better responses on our side.

They aren't immune to intimidate.

The same way something "immune to charm and compulsion" ISN'T immune to Diplomacy.

This is the ONE THING that skills have over magic.  MANY things are immune to magic.  Almost NOTHING is immune to skills.

Another example: see invisibility doesn't detect characters using hide - just those with invisibility up.

Intimidate is a SKILL - a non-magical way of influencing someone's behavior.  It also, RAW, is not technically a "fear" effect - in fact, intimidating something doesn't mean you're SCARED of it - just that the thing has convinced you of it's power to the extent that you think the consequences for fucking with it are dire enough to be worth avoiding.

What kind of bonus does immunity to fear grant?

Who cares if it is missing a [fear] tag?

Bonuses against fear allows you to resist intimidate.

If you are immune to something, and something else checks for bonuses in that something you are immune to.
Do you get a bonus or just plain ignore it?
