If all they're fixated on is the Thousand Cuts, then yeah, considering you can do that once or more per round with the right build in ToB.  Dervish Dance is where it's at for damage, though.

Dervish Dance sucks unless you also have Skirmish and it caps your attacks based on your speed.

However, Thousand Cuts is a great cherry pick for Illithid Savants, especially coupled with ToB builds. ;)

If built into epic or using a means of getting (I believe it's a 4th level spell) persistent unfettered heroism, Thousand Cuts is bad ass, as you can use it constantly and be a living lawn mower.

The other option is Radiant Servant of Pelor.  Yeah, you don't lose anything but a few hitpoints, and that's fine, and it's a solid choice... but what you gain is the ability to use in combat cures a little better.  Since when have in combat cures been something worth cheering about?  By the time your ability to cast really awesome cures comes around, you've already got Heal.
ZOMG YOU ARE SO RIGHT

I have been saying this for quite a while now. Everytime its a "I need ultimate healor build" thread and someone mentions that stupid class. IT DOESN'T WORK LIKE EVERYONE THINKS IT DOES [/rant]

undead will simply cease to exist in your presence (and that's without using any turn attempts)
Turns are cheap.

BBEGs should be turn-immune. And you still have to freaking make the check. Your better off rebuking and I have the build to prove it  ;)
empowered + maximized mass cure x (or mass heal) versus undead?  Or even an empowered heal vs. the BBEG?  oh, and those metamagics are for free.  Add in domain spontaneity, and you're getting the free metamagics spontaneously.  Leaving all of your turn attempts for other niftiness.  And Glory domain is pretty cool, too.
I really think this is a matter of differences in play experiences.

RSoP isn't the best, but it is pretty much cleric+.  I've only seen it recommended for people who don't want to change their playstyle.
Wait a minute -- taking one of the best classes in the game (arguably seconded only to the wizard; and even then ....) and cranking it up to 11 without losing anything (and without any real sacrifice), and you're giving it a "meh"?  :twitch  um, okay.

[spoiler]
If you stop ignoring 289 pages telling what the intent is to stretch "more power" in your own god complexion of your interpretation trumps all to cover ability adjustments from aging then I will ignore a quarter page of rules that exist within a sidebar.
I think in this case the grammar is less important than whether the Str and Dex bonus provided to your created undead scales.

RSoP might be Cleric+, but it's not turning it up to 11.  That's the Dweomerkeeper.  And even then, the two classes that are most often uttered in succession with DK are WAY above it, and those are the Incantatrix and Planar Shepherd.

That's what Church Inquisitor is for. :p

Just be a Hood and do ludicrous damage without losing control of your character.  (DM's vengeance of using dominate person on you to kill the party excluded.)
Hood - My first answer to all your build questions; past, present, and future.

Speaking of which:
Don't even need TO for this.  Any decent Hood build, especially one with Celerity, one-rounds [Azathoth, the most powerful greater deity from d20 Cthulu].
Does it bug anyone else that we've reached the point where characters who can obliterate a greater deity in one round are considered "decent?"

Besides Anklebite, Hood's can actually see the table.  If we pimped our CL Spellthief Monsters, we'd get sued by players who got their teeth kicked in by avenging DM smites :lmao

then shouldn't he just make that his sig? I swear, he has that link permanently on his clipboard. It's a great build and all, but I don't think there is anyone left who doesn't know of it.

Make that ocular! Shoot eyelasers that make people's crossbows shoot them in the back using more bolts than were in the crossbow!
