If PCs could turn into bacteria, it would break the game.

Just imagine how much XP the Spanish Influenza would have gotten.

Not really, but all that XP from killing a million Lvl 1 commoners would have to be shared by a gazillion OTHER PCs.

Oh, and I'm pretty certain any sort of inluenza are viri, and not bacteria, so you need a category yet smaller.

They would all still be considered Fine. :D

Commoners must be pretty healthy in the D&D world since you can only cram so many viruses into a five-foot square.

Fixed a typo in the main page and updated all the files. I accidentally had shapechange showing you gained SLAs, but that's not true.

It's a common oversight.

But it's not like you really need them, once you get Shapechange you get pretty much everything interesting out there in one way/form or the other :)

Typo ?!
TYPO !!

Given all the Polymorph revisions, and rules "updates" ; I'm not surprised it's taken Surreal + 10 years of 3rd edition , to get it right.

Didn't K/Franks interpretation of the last Poly update, include getting the spellcasting ... because of it not being ex/su/sp/??

Yeah, there are some pretty valid arguments for Polymorph/Draconic Polymorph granting spellcasting.

Shapechange allows any type (including undead, construct, outsider) unlike Polymorph.

Yes, it certainly is a step above Polymorph. I don't think anyone was disputing that though :)

Uh ? I'm referring to the 2nd line in the Shapechange column, which isn't very clear on what types it allows. It seems to build up on the Polymorph entry ("also incorporeal or gazeous"). Perhaps I just confused myself. :)

No, that was my fault for being unclear. I've revised it now to say "all types, also incorporeal or gaseous". I was probably too preoccupied with trying to trim everything down to fit into the cells and removed more words than I should have  :P

could someone clarify when you can turn into a construct, outsider, or undead?  Like how warforges and psicystals can be turn into contructs, and teilflngs can become outsiders.  When in RAW is this stated?

Warforged are living constructs (which is practically its own type). I believe there's a PrC that "upgrades" them.

As for Tieflings, I figured they were native outsiders already?
