(Note to self: don't sit down with mixed drink in 30+ C weather when you haven't eaten anything today yet...you will guzzle the drink and you will get drunk real quick.)

I'm probably going to go drink some more, now that I think about it.

OMG you guys, I went into the liquor store to buy some wine and I found out they brought back my Smirnoff Triple Black!!!!

The only Smirnoff cooler I will drink.

I was so sad when the lady at the LB told me they discontinued it.  Then I walked in today and it was back!  With new packaging and stuff!  I got a whole four pack to myself (hey I'm a student, I can't afford more...)  No one is allowed to touch it but me!  I will be GMing Castles & Crusades off of slushy half-frozen Triple Black tomorrow.

Preemptive WHOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!

Some of our best gaming sessions come about when our DM has a few to many. Those nights are rare but awesome. One of those nights, I recall asking if my character could do something extraordinary. He just laughed, shrugged, tossed the DM's guide to the floor, and said, "Just roll a die and I'll let you know if it works." Hilarity ensued.

The tier system in a nutshell:

Tier 5: An expert cartographer or a decent marksman.
Tier 4: An expert marksman.
Tier 3: An expert marksman, cartographer and chef who can tie strong knots and is trained in hostage negotiation or a marksman so good he can shoot down every bullet fired by a minigun while armed with a rusted single-shot pistol that veers to the left.
Tier 2: Someone with teleportation, mind control, time manipulation, intangibility, the ability to turn into an exact duplicate of anything, or the ability to see into the future with perfect accuracy.

My DM came up with the Orb while wasted.  Characters who picked up The Orb made a saving throw.  If they failed, The Orb could grant them other class powers, abilities, spells, and so forth that a character of their level normally wouldn't have.

The downside?  It drove you insane and killed all your mental scores as it Dominated you...
