Mission Dossier
Inside you will find all the files that you've collected throughout your adventure. This includes Pre-Op Mission Packets as well as anything you find along the way. All collected here, for you ease of use.

Client
* ETL (Edison Technological Laboratories) It is assumed that the client is lying. Clients regularly hide their true identity to protect themselves. They could really be Tesla Technologies Inc. for all you know. It is considered impolite to force the issue. In most cases this isn't a problem, for a Weekend Crew this is typical day to day stuff. A Client is a client and a Job is a job. Besides, an Operative's Handler should be competent enough to dig out such truths, if the Operative needs it.

Liaison
'Buddy Swift', of 'Edison Technological Laboratories'. He's a typical Liaison. Normally an exec who snorted his career up his nose, and now gets to act as a go-between in meetings with dangerous armed individuals who could very well shoot them dead. Occasionally they are the corporations Head of Security, like CielCorp. But not 'Buddy'. He looked like he had been up for three days straight. He was certainly wired though when he talked with you though.

BriefingTroy Hurtubise.

Your employer wants you to steal this ANGEL LIGHT for them, as well as any relevent files pertaining to the development and research on ANGEL LIGHT. To add insult to injury, your employer wants you to infect CielCorp computer mainframes, destroying everything, setting back CielCorp's research teams to the stone age.

This section gives you more background information about the people, groups,
etc, that are involved in the mission.

CielCorp

Alain Charboneau - CEO of CielCorp.

Officially published Bio on CielCorp website - "Driven by a need for privacy and a deep-seated sense of humility, Alain Charboneau has released few details of his personal life to the public. He first made his mark during the first Gulf War, providing high-technology armaments to NATO.After decades of keeping the world safe through the development of sophisticated weapons systems, Charboneau turned his attention to critical areas of science and technology - always searching for new ways to improve the human experience, and create a brighter future for all humanity. Still running his vast network of companies, Alain Charboneau has set new standards for philanthropy and the support of pure scientific research for the betterment of the entire race." --
In reality Charboneau is neither humble nor a philanthropist. He's brought CielCorp up through the years to become one of the world's leading Weapons Development companies. He is known for his shrewd business mind.

Monsieur Cat - Security Head of CielCorp
"Monsieur Cat" is of course, a pseudonym. He is the executive liaison for Ciel Corp's Plaisir Sadique. He is not a known coke-head. ;)

Notable Researchers
These men are known CielCorp researchers. It is rumored that they were all assigned to Isle Noir.
Dr. Etienne Moreaud, Geneticist
Dr. Jules Petit, Entomologist
Dr. Gilbert Fournier, Botanist
Dr. Noel Roux, Engineer

Plaisir Sadique
CielCorp's private Industrial Espionage unit. They are French. ;) Suspecting foul play, PS was dispatched to Isle Noir to investigate the communication blackout. They never reported back.
Known Team Members
Margot Gasnault - Unit CO
Drew Billerey - Scout
Rachel DuMont - Medic
Marcel Rouseax - Communications
Quentin Monet - Soldier
...

Interested Parties - It is almost certain that other Corporations will have the same idea. Be on alert and expect other I/E unit interference. They may be there for another bit of technology, but they may also be after the ANGEL LIGHT as well.

Apocrypha
A likely candidate is Apocrypha, a loosely organized team of fiercely Communist scientists who fled the Soviet Union as it neared collapse. They set up shop in the eastern wilderness of Estonia -- virtually lawless, but near enough to local towns. Their goals are largely unknown. They have been known to employ the services of Crimson Horizon.

"Puntsovyiy Gorizont" ( in English "Crimson Horizon")
Known members
Dmitriy Ivanov - Spetsnaz
Vladimir Nosov - Former KGB
Nikolay Pupov - Russian Mafia
Sasha Probravnikov- Engineer/Demolitions
Anja Yanshina - Sniper/Marksman
Svetlana Novik - Vehicle Specialist

Puntsovyiy Gorizont Russian for Crimson Horizon
You know nothing other than names, a team role, and the fact that they have a reputation for being fierce, dirty, but professional. They are technically a Lancer Crew, but mostly they work for Apocrypha.

French Polynesia
A French overseas collectivity in the southern Pacific Ocean. It is made up of several groups of Polynesian islands, the most famous island being Tahiti in the Society Islands group, which is also the most populous island and the seat of the capital of the territory (Papeete). Resource Link.

Isle Noir
CielCorp's privately owned Isle Noir is located some 74 nautical mile west of Tahiti. This is their main R&D Site, and it is likely that security may be tight.

The island itself was first owned by a French nobleman named Dr. Noir, who in 1782 who constructed for himself and his family a plantation carved out of the jungle. Here in his private tropical paradise he built an asylum which was completed in 1793. Patients were often highly violent coming from some of France's toughest prisons.

The head of the facility, Dr. Jacques Chaban performed inhumane experiments and medical procedures on the patients, killing many in the process. In 1802 The Noir Isle Mental Asylum was closed for good when some of the patients escaped, killing almost the entire staff and slaughtering the nobleman's family. The patients were hunted down and killed and the island abandoned.

The island was purchased from Noir's surviving daughter by the French Government in 1876. It remained in their possession, abandoned until 1986 when CielCorp purchased Isle Noir. In 1990 construction of the current island facilities began. In 1995 CielCorp researchers began to move to and from the island, and Research & Development began.

Mission Goals

* Infiltrate CielCorp's Black Isle facility by sea. A freighter will be supplied with crew to get you there. You will have to go in undetected as the current situation is unknown, however it would be wise to assume all security counter-measures are in place as a precaution. Sloppy operatives equal dead operatives and dead operatives lead to failed missions.

* Locate and enter each of the Islands Main Labs. Each contains a Mainframe computer for that facility. Infect each Mainframe with a nasty virus that will erode the data and will crawl its way into CielCorps Home network if they able to achieve a satellite connection. Huge bonus for accomplishing this task for the team. 5 figures big.

* Locate and enter the Angel Light lab in order to retrieve Data on Project: Angel Light.

* Locate and retrieve the Angel Light unit itself. A helicopter will be sent to make a pick-up for return to the freighter.

* The Client is interested in any high tech or interesting weapons projects. If the team find anything interesting or unique it should be brought back with the Angel Light. Large Bonus paid upon receipt and quality of technology found.

ANGEL LIGHT
Angel Light is a device created by Troy Hurtubise. It is believed to be some sort of X-Ray machine, making walls, and even flesh transparent. Hurtubise as an inventor is rarely taken seriously, but the French found something of worth in the project. It is now officially declared a hoax, thus allowing CielCorp to re-engineer it to their hearts desire without public interference.
