Lucy
Female Chaotic Evil Magic-Blooded Human Binder/Warlock/Mindbender/Hellfire Warlock, Level 1/7/1/1, Init +8, HP 58/58, DR 2/cold iron, Speed 30 ft., fly 30 ft. (good)
AC 18, Touch 13, Flat-footed 14, Fort +10, Ref +8, Will +11, Base Attack Bonus 5, Power Points 1/1 Action Points 10
  Eldritch Blast +11 (5d8+4d6, x2)
+1 Mithral Chain Shirt (+5 Armor, +4 Dex, -1 Misc)
Abilities Str 8, Dex 18, Con 14, Int 15, Wis 6, Cha 26
Condition None

Lucy grew up in Rotting Blade, in the Demon Wastes, though it's unclear if she was actually born there - It's not unheard of for the thorp's ruler Vraria to send out minions that snatch away new subjects for her to rule over (See ECS p. 161f.). She herself doesn't know, as she was too young to remember at the time if she was ever kidnapped, and she most likely doesn't really care. (I'm sure there could be a theme song for this too, but I'm too lazy to look for one.) One year ago, Lucy just barely survived a fire which she had accidentally set herself by attempting to light a torch, leaving her badly burned and on the brink of death. As her soul was about to leave for Dolurrh, the essence of a fiend that had been slain or imprisoned nearby seeped into her body, reviving her and healing her burns. (Hilf Mir) This fusing process gave her some strange abilities, the most obvious - and directly dangerous - of which was the ability to hurl fire that burned as bright and hot as the sun itself (though the burns reappear briefly whenever she uses these flames). These abilities, of course, made Lucy a great asset to Vraria. Although she didn't (and still doesn't) know what "asset" means, exactly, stealing that pretty heart-shaped trinket and setting a fire around the place before fleeing seemed like a fun enough idea.

Here we go. I've decided to just go with what I already had and find some other excuse to turn my chasuble into a legacy item. Maybe the "essence" will try to take over at some point and be forced to move into the chasuble, or something.
The "fiend" can be whatever the DM wants. It might be a rajah, or just a devil/demon that was stupid enough to run afoul of some adventurers. Maybe it's the Elder Evil that Lemmy worships.

EDIT: A thought: Vraria could use Mein Herz Brennt as a theme song. I think it fits night hags pretty well.

So, do we just call you Lucy or what? :P

Would probably require (reflavored) Girallon Claws or Telekinesis, but whatever :P
Kaede, technically. :P
Seriously tough, has anyone besides me noticed that there are a bunch of similarities between Azurin and Diclonii? For one, they have distinguishing features that show they aren't 'normal' humans (horns for diclonii, eyes for azurin), but biologically speaking, they're essentially human. For two, they age faster than normal humans (silpelits and azurin do, anyway) and have shorter life spans. They naturally have acces to supernatural powers (incarnum for Azurin, telekinesis for diclonii) that humans don't normally have.
Then there's the adventure hook where a LE Azurin takes steps to ensure every child born in a town is azurin. Reminds me of Director Kakuzawa's plan (in the manga, at least), albeit on a much smaller scale.

Not familiar with manga at all, and quite unfamiliar with anime as well I'm afraid...

Shame on you. ;)
I guess I'll go with Lucy if I can't think of any better ideas. Dunno if it really sounds like a Demon Wastes name, though.

It should be suffice (sic?) for a human name...

Yeah, if I had more free time I'd check more anime, Area 88 is first on my list :)

Bumpdate for my cohort, who I'll roll the ability scores of right now:

STR 8, DEX 13, CON 13, INT 16(+2'd), WIS 9, CHA 16

Hmm... Do I keep this, or use the point buy? lessee, it's only 31 points. Fuck that.

Anyone have any suggestions for what THE sickest keyboard part ever is? I'm making this outfit's keyboardist. I wanna get an Organ, and load the pipes with wands, and every keystroke will activate the wands.

I don't know a lot of keyboard parts, but there are 2 songs I know of that you definitely need to include the keyboard parts of:
-Europe - The Final Countdown
-Judas Priest - Nostradamus

The Melancholy Beast

Character Sheet of said beast.
Let me guess: It's stealth-based, right? It's so stealthy we can't even see its stats, huh? ;)

New cohort's character concept is based off of The Seven Angels. He's going to be an Aasimar or Lesser Aasimar some thing or other. I could make an artificer, but I think I might go for cleric instead, because this song is so much more inspiring.

Any suggestions? This guy could shape up to be a cloistered cleric with ranks in perform(sing) and Keyboards.

I just heard this song like right now, and I'm inspired immediately. I'm staying up late to listen to it 100 more times. It's 15 fucking minutes long.

I could go War weaver with it, but it's arcane only, isn't it? Maybe if I did a bit of Geomancer cheese. I might consider Bard/Sublime Chord/Virtuoso/War Weaver, using an organ to concentrate on 3 bardic music effects at once.

Boz, what's your interpretation of the Melodic Casting feat? I interpret it to mean that I can concentrate on a music and cast a spell at the same time. If you read it differently, I'd have to dump that aspect of this build. Even with that, I still might just go Cleric rather than bard. Could do the whole Initiate of Milil/Devoted Performer, and go Divine Prankster for THE KILLING JOKE! Although that actually doesn't fit all that well, because this guy's a straight up angel, LG and all. The guy who doesn't drink at all.

How 'bout DMM (Chain Spell) for single target buffs and DMM (Persistent Spell) for fixed range group buffs (bursts and emanations etc.) like Righteous Wrath of the Faithfull etc.?

I can craft Nightsticks really cheap ;) :P
