I was wondering why the DM has not posted more on the encounter.  I'm ok with another DM. It was uncool what he said.  I can see in that post there was a lot of bad feelings between the to people but it was still un-called for, period.

I was enjoying the way the game as a DM removing those kinda over powerering books makes the char pick different stuff then always making the same char styles but that will be upto the new DM.

I hope this game is not just dead like many I seen before.

As for this happening often, it's been my observation here at BG that outright banning is exceedingly rare.

It was a thread that involved politics and he wasn't annoying in it he was offensive. I'm on the same side of the political spectrum and was getting pissed at his statements.
Clerics and Druids are like the 4 and 2 in 42. Together they are the answer to the ultimate question in D&D.

So who all is still interested in playing either this game or one that is similar? I'm considering running it. I haven't run a PbP before and don't have photoshop or the skills to use it like many of the other DMs in the PbP here. Right now I'm just wanting to gauge interest to see if it is worth the effort to start working on it.

Well well, didn't make it through the first encounter, neh? :D If anyone's willing to DM, I'd love to keep this going. I find it doubtful that we'll find a person willing to DM, since I'm fairly sure this was a custom world, and not something another person could quickly pick up and run with.

Either way, nice gaming with you all.

--Edit-- Or Arcanis could pick it up like a sav mellon farmer! I knew I liked you!  :p

I'd be interested in continuing or doing one like it.

A gygaxian dungeon is like the world's most messed up game show.

Behind door number one: INSTANT DEATH!
Behind door number 2: A magic crown!
Behind door number 3: 4d6 giant bees, and THREE HUNDRED POUNDS OF HONEY!
They don't/haven't, was the point. 3.5 is as dead as people not liking nice tits.

Sometimes, their tits (3.5) get enhancements (houserules), but that doesn't mean people don't like nice tits.

Though sometimes, the surgeon (DM) botches them pretty bad...
Best metaphor I have seen in a long time.  I give you much fu.
Three Errata for the Mage-kings under the sky,
Seven for the Barbarian-lords in their halls of stone,
Nine for Mortal Monks doomed to die,
One for the Wizard on his dark throne
In the Land of Charop where the Shadows lie.

I'd be behind you running a game based on this premise, with these characters, achangel.arcanis.

I'm good either way, continuing with this or making another character/campaign/world/any of the former/something else.

I don't need a battle map really, especially since I have more experience playing without one than with one. As long as I don't play any battlefield control, I can game just as well.

I'm not picky, I'm just glad to get to play at all. :)

though Binders really do rock...

It looks like we want to continue playing. I am tired of being a DM so I went to play because I really like to play rather then be a DM.  Who wants to be the DM? I would like to keep my char.  You go AA I'm in.

How attached is everyone to it being a frozen wasteland setting? I'm considering using a map that was made for the 2nd continent in the DragonLance setting, the game could be DL if you guys wanted but I was just going to be stealing the map. The land would be more temperate, I would probably use some similar house rules to get the same feel for it being less about the casters, and the disaster would be a VEI8 situation instead of perma-winter.

Fine with me other than I would want to redo my feats as they were HEAVILY weighted to the frostburn type environment.
