Yeah, RKV does have pretty steep entry requirements in terms of skills.

EDIT: Would the increase in skill points from Cloistered Cleric help? Sure, you lose one point of BAB and a few HP, but it might be worth it...

The thing is, that will delay entering prestige paladin by another level, which means I won't be able to pick up Battle Blessing at 6th. I honestly don't think it is worth it.

Yeah, I think as long as you pick up Thicket of Blades, you should have melee battlefield control covered, not many maneuvers that help with that aside from Thicket.
And since you wouldn't get to RKV 7 anyway...


I think advancing as a Cleric (or Cleric PrC) instead of RKV should work fine

Like I said, all NPCs are at least somewhat tweaked in terms of feats, skills and spell selection by yours truly

Yes, speaking of XP, I'm thinking about changing that a bit (don't worry, it won't have any negative effect on your characters).

Due to the generally slow pace of PbPs I'm thinking about just dropping random encounters alltogether and only run scripted encounters. At least that way we'll make some actual progress

If I do this, I'll ofcourse increase the XP you guys get from the scripted encounters (without actually upping their EL ofcourse).


Any thoughts?

In that case, maybe I'll train out either Hunter's Sense or Punishing Stance for one of Pearl of Black Doubt or Tactics of the Wolf. Opinions? PoBD fits very well thematically, but may become obsolete when AC stops mattering. TotW is a small bonus now, but may or may not become significant.

And, naturally, I'm picking up WRT now.
