Giving Telepathic commands to your summons could be mighty handy, but with such a limited number of levels, I'm not sure what you might be missing out on.

Sure.

Only problem with that is you can't see the guy you're charging, so I'm not sure you can do that right now. Scent only let's you pinpoint the square when you're within 5ft., right?

Oh, I'm most certainly not going to charge right now - in part because I can't charge through difficult terrain. Just some reference for the future.

Come to think of it... I was going to do a Jump check so I wouldn't have to go through that pesky 4-squares-per-space slope, but a) is that both ways, or only up? b) couldn't I just burrow a 'cube' down and come out onto the road, since it's lower?

Works both ways, not just 'up'. Also remember that the forested terrain is light undergrowth, so costs 2 squares.

And yes, burrowing that way would work, but the first square of movement (vertically) would still cost you 2 squares.

Would it? Aren't movement penalties for moving into, rather than out of squares?
Technically, it would be diagonally down.

What's the default for burrowing?

I don't think it really matters though...

Burrow
A creature with a burrow speed can tunnel through dirt, but not through rock unless the descriptive text says otherwise. Creatures cannot charge or run while burrowing. Most burrowing creatures do not leave behind tunnels other creatures can use (either because the material they tunnel through fills in behind them or because they do not actually dislocate any material when burrowing); see the individual creature descriptions for details.

Unless Mineral Warrior specifically mentions leaving a tunnel, you don't leave one.

Well, you've pinpointed it last round, and you don't see anything in that square (no need for a Spot check to notice a square is empty ), so yeah, that's a pretty logical conclusion
