By the way, not sure if I mentioned this before, but aside from Venn, I'm okay with Agita posting his turn as well, to keep things moving.

Figured the two of you won't really get in each others way, and the enemy won't act until after you guys.

I'm aware, yes. It's just that I'm a lazy bastard and easily distracted, so I get distracted and take hours to post in the end (even though I spend like a few minutes doing the actual writing).

Yeah, sorry 'bout that, just copy-pasted the description from the adventure

The brown-striped squares aren't important right now, they denote the point at which the hobbo's would have sprung their trap.

The 4-squares to enter are indeed the sides of the road, the 'slopes' leading up to the green area.

Ok, on my action I'll dismount (move action), activate Animal Devotion (swift action), and fly to D10 (move action, speed is 45'),and draw my weapon (free action while moving). I'm now threatening RA1 (due to my reach), which means he takes a -4 to attack Saru due to my stance. I'm still (barely) within range of Shield Other, also.

That works, right?
