My thoughts exactly, with slight modifications as to their reaction; you've just blown the hell out of an enemy boat, no resistance, you think they're onboard possibly, which has led to your cheering. Then your commanding officer's head explodes. Then the guy holding the bazooka's chest erupts in blood, and you realize that you're sitting on a boat getting picked off.
You're either angry and taken to action, or you're (most likely) startled to high hell and caught off guard. Plus, you have no rallying point (officer) to gain control of a startled if not scared group. And until they see where we are, we can possibly snipe one or two more (at least one more, thank you Richard).
If we stay out of obvious sight and blast a few away, morale would lower (no DnD effect I can think of, aside from possibly shoddy tactics) and people would panic. Plus, we have a big gun with a LOT longer range, and onething I know for a fact; in the military at this time (and in Vietnam especially), the shittiest weapons to have were the ones that could do big damage, like bazooka's, machine guns, or flame throwers. You were second only to obvious command as far as targets went, and snipers could do plenty of damage fast. You might not WANT to pick it up, as it paints a target on you.
But yeah, I'm a Nazi-hunter, and Richard's a sniper. We can cause some shit, if you guys can kill any who land on the beaches (bit of an odd reversal of roles, no?
). Besides, we need to save Russo's guns. Imean, we need to save MAX! That's right... Max..... who, being a living creature, takes priority....
Oh Jace, what about my spoiler'd questions?
