Q313: Can someone explain or post a link as to how Celerity duels work?

That is to say, repeated castings of celerity on two sides?
I'm piecing this together as I go along.  In order to cast multiple celerities, one would need multiple swift/immediate actions, correct?

Your second casting of celerity occurs before your first.  At that point in time, you haven't yet used an immediate action, so you should be able to cast celerity.  After you resolve the second casting, you come to the first, find you don't have the ability to take an immediate action, and that casting doesn't happen.  At least, that's as much sense as I can make of it.
Can I get a second confirmation on this please?

Q 326.  Is [Force] an Energy descriptor?  That is, can I use Energy Substitution to make Magic Missile deal fire damage?

Thanks!

Q 327.  If I cast a Fell Drain-ing, Lingering fireball, do the targets take 2 negative levels (one when it first hits, one the next turn when the Lingering damages them) or one?

Bumping again
Q 310 Is there any information on amber dragons somewhere? Stats, location, etc.

Q 323 Where can I find the write up on Glornoth the Maleficent? I read of him in Weapons of Legacy, but would like his actual stats.

He's a demon or devil prince. Who would likely be the closest?

Depends. If it's to make it into force damage, +2. If it's to make all damage normal, but give you +1d4 force damage, +1.

A327.No, the effect triggers per casting of the spell, not per iteration of damage from the casting.  The same thing holds true of a Fell Drain Melf's Acid Arrow.

Well, what is he mentioned as being able to do? If he's just a fighter, possibly Bel. Alternatively, just look through FCI and FCII and pick a statblock that tickles your fancy. Those two books have no shortage of them.

Q 329 Is there a spell that basically gives a way to avoid Entangle or the speed reduction that comes from other plant overgrowth effects? Woodland stride, but for magical effects? If so, what is this spell, and who gets it?

Freedom of movement, though it's overkill.

Actually yeah, I guess that's right.

Heart of Water (too bad it's personal) and Freedom of Movement. It would be nice if there were lower level spells, but this could be good enough.

I was just thinking about teams of PCs at about lvl 8 or so. You just about can't lose if there are plants around. Also, the enemies generally don't have flying/teleportation just yet.

The PCs use Entangle and Plant Growth on the enemies. Oh no! They're all entangled/slowed/can't move very far at all!
The striker closes in with Freedom of Movement on, and proceeds to slaughter each enemy individually with TWF + duskblade channeling.
The rest of the group flies overhead (or shoots from afar) and performs crowd control, laying down the smackdown as needed.

Any better spells out there? Relatively long duration is good, but not required.

Q319:Is there any third party books or rules that are dealing with Epic/Deity rules?
We may play an epic campaign and wizards books are not very respected for that purpose....
I only know about the Immortals Handbook is there any others?
A319
Dicefreaks has an excellent adaptation that merges EPIC rule and Deity Rules in a way that makes sense .... found here:

here is all of the GoH books for reference:

Heart of Water (too bad it's personal)
Well, it's only 3rd level. So you can actually brew potions of it. (Or is there a rule saying you can't put personal spells in potions? Seems like there is...)
