q 217. where do i find the catalogues of enlightenment? is it a wotc product? dragon? web enhancement?
link??

You find it in the planar handbook, page 166, it is WotC product. I got all but the WotC product bit from posts already in this thread, both in answer to one of your own questions.

Well, it doesn't do some of the more obscure setting specific stuff, but other than that...

Q216:

Does anyone have a link to a decent 10 level Crusader build that can deal with a Mounted Knight?

A216: Anything with reach (preferably larger) and Thicket of Blades and Steadfast boots fits the bill, I guess. It's only a Knight we're talking about...

Wielding a bigger weapon doesn't give you more reach.

wielding a large reach weapon gives you 15 as a medium. Not the 20 ofa large creature, butmore than the lance of the knight.

This is simply incorrect.  Size of weapon is irrelevant.  Kinda silly if you think about it, but that's how it works.

It's like that time someone RP'd having a sword taller than most humanoid characters (>6'), but still didn't have reach in combat. :)

Well, no, that makes sense. Obviously he can't swing it to a full horizontal, the torque necessary to keep it from lodging in the ground would be impossible to supply.
So you end up stuck in an endless loop, unable to act, forever.

In retrospect, much like Keanu Reeves.

so if a large creature has a 10ft reach, and is wielding a polearm does his reach only go to 15ft? the normal polearms add 5ft reach for medium characters... but what if it was a polearm made for a large sized creature? would it then add 10ft?

so then is there a way for a large creature to have a 20ft reach via weapons? not using items or feats or magic

And you are telling me wielding an appropriately sized reach weapon as a large creature doesn't give you more reach than as medium?because that'swhat the bracers let you do. Wield like you were large.

Additionallyy, see words "Typically" in above quote. "Typically" you cannot wield a large reach weapon at all as a medium creature.

But then again by the strictest raw, having a natural reach of 25 feet as a medium creature means picking up a 12 foot long halberd suddenly makes your reach 50 feet.

Yes, that's what we're telling you. Reach has nothing at all to do with weapon size, and is only based on creature size (and other modifiers, like feats, etc).

That's exactly right. Whether it makes sense or not is inconsequential.

The half-giant description of powerful build in the SRD even explicitly says this:
Quote
A half-giant can use weapons designed for a creature one size larger without penalty. However, his space and reach remain those of a creature of his actual size.

Q220:
So what is the weakest true dragon kind?
Let's pretend that Dragonwrought Kobold is not a true dragon for the purpose of this question...
I know that by cr is the Steel dragon but I think this is wrong,I mean he cast as an 21st level sorcerer when he is a Great Wyrm and I think that he should be able to be a more difficult encounter than some of his dragon friends with greater cr(Etheral dragon, maybe white dragon)
Which one do you believe is the weakest?
