Q39 Is there any way of acquiring Greater Dispel Magic as a 4th level spell?

No, but Trapsmiths get it as a 1st level spell  ;)

And so do Archivists I suppose...

Holy crap... I don't know why they felt the need to even cap Dispel Magic at +10 and create another spell (except to say "FU sorcerers!"), but I am amazed that they did this...

Actually trapsmiths take dispel magic as 1 level spell and greater dispel as a 3 level spell...
Still the point stands...

You're right, but still, it's getting it as a lower level than 4th, which still makes it wonderful for Chameleons and Archivists (with work)
I am constantly amazed by how many DM's ban Tomb of Battle.  The book doesn't even exist!

Bingo. 3rd level will do indeed. My group allows Extra Spell to pick from any list.

Q44  Where can I find a good primer guide for psionics in general?  I've seen the Psion and Ardent Handbooks but nothing for really getting a general feel for the 'magic' system.

Thank you, I was looking at doing a Tahalatora Psychic Theurge and wanted to familiarize myself with the systems involved which I haven't played before.

Q45: What can a 5th level warblade do to max his Iajutsu focus check?

Assume DM permits Iajutsu Focus as a houserules class skill for the character.

Assume competence bonus custom skill item is permissible as magic item creation guidelines.
Shh. My common sense is tingling. . .

A 45: Max ranks, duh, a 14 CHA (more isn't feasable, even 14 is 6 points too much, to be honest), maybe a lvl Marshal for Motivate CHA (which would require high CHA to be effective), Skill Focus, and an item as gold permits. I think a 30 might be doable. (8 ranks, 4 attribute bonus, another four from Motivate CHA, 3 from Skill Focus, 10 from an item, minimum 1 from the roll.)

A +10 item would cost 10,000 gp, though. A +5 is a lot more reasonable (2500 gp), and you can throw in a MW tool for another +2.

Q46: Is there any way for a Druid to cure Ability Drain before 9th level spells without resorting to magic items, feats or multiclassing? That is, can Druid 16 (without tricks to cast 9th level spells) with just his spells cure Ability Drain? Lesser Restoration, Panacea, Heal & Regeneration (and obvious Reincarnate) cover pretty much every other ailment, but the only answer to Ability Drain I can find is "don't get any". Also, same question with regards to Negative Levels.

Regular Restoration.

A gygaxian dungeon is like the world's most messed up game show.

Behind door number one: INSTANT DEATH!
Behind door number 2: A magic crown!
Behind door number 3: 4d6 giant bees, and THREE HUNDRED POUNDS OF HONEY!
They don't/haven't, was the point. 3.5 is as dead as people not liking nice tits.

Sometimes, their tits (3.5) get enhancements (houserules), but that doesn't mean people don't like nice tits.

Though sometimes, the surgeon (DM) botches them pretty bad...
Best metaphor I have seen in a long time.  I give you much fu.
Three Errata for the Mage-kings under the sky,
Seven for the Barbarian-lords in their halls of stone,
Nine for Mortal Monks doomed to die,
One for the Wizard on his dark throne
In the Land of Charop where the Shadows lie.

Regular Restoration.

It's not on Druid spell list, hence the question.

Q48 Anyone know a way to get an ooze to have an intelligence score?  Specifically a living spell.

Q48b If so, anyone know a way to get it some sort of humanoid form ability easily?

Q 49 This may not be a simple question as this pertains all the way back to 1st edition. Found the Piercer from the original MM updated in a 3.5 3rd party book, but it doesn't have any hit die listed, nor its type (my guess is aberration?). In the original book it said that it had 1-4 HD based on the size of the creature (S to M, 1 ft - 6ft). The update only has 3 different CRs listed so I'm assuming 1 HD per CR. What type would it  be (ie specially for HD purposes)? I'm not too worried about stats or anything else as they are only listed as "hazards", not as creatures in the 3.5 version.

A 48

The Sentry Ooze template from Dungeonscape gives the Ooze it's applied to an Int score.
It's all about vision and making reality conform to your vision. By dropping a fucking house on it.

If it's listed as a hazard, then it isn't a creature, and won't have hit dice. It will be more like a trap. It could have a CR for "beating" it, but you don't beat it by stabbing it to death.
