On a similar note: High-level monks and other classes gain immunity to being magically aged, yet there exists no method of magically aging someone.
BoVD makes that an option for Bestow Curse.
There's also some spells in obscure sourcebooks (Dragonlance has a few, I think, and some Dragon mag probably does too).
It's all about vision and making reality conform to your vision. By dropping a fucking house on it.

Don't forget how regeneration lets you reattach severed body parts, but the only body part it's possible to sever is the head (which stops you from reattaching anything).
My work
The tier system in a nutshell:
Tier 6: A cartographer.
Tier 5: An expert cartographer or a decent marksman.
Tier 4: An expert marksman.
Tier 3: An expert marksman, cartographer and chef who can tie strong knots and is trained in hostage negotiation or a marksman so good he can shoot down every bullet fired by a minigun while armed with a rusted single-shot pistol that veers to the left.
Tier 2: Someone with teleportation, mind control, time manipulation, intangibility, the ability to turn into an exact duplicate of anything, or the ability to see into the future with perfect accuracy.
Tier 1: Someone with teleportation, mind control, time manipulation, intangibility, the ability to turn into an exact duplicate of anything and the ability to see into the future with perfect accuracy.
Ogre Mages can apparently still act for a bit after being decapitated, and the Tarrasque can also keep going.  Both have Regeneration.
I am constantly amazed by how many DM's ban Tomb of Battle.  The book doesn't even exist!

Quotes:
By yes, she means no.
That explains so much about my life.

Why would you even do this? It hurts my eyes and looks like you ate your keyboard before suffering an attack of explosive diarrhea.

If using Genesis to hide your phylactry, set it at -300 degrees farenheit.  See how do-gooders fare with a liquid atmosphere.

in the srd they have very few mentions of head or decapitation.

in particular, from d20srd troll:

Quote
Regeneration (Ex)
Fire and acid deal normal damage to a troll. If a troll loses a limb or body part, the lost portion regrows in 3d6 minutes. The creature can reattach the severed member instantly by holding it to the stump.

no mention of head, only 'body part'

But those didn't really exist at the time the PHB was printed (well, except the BoVD, but that's from an older edition).

32. You consider speed limits, including c, merely suggestions.

33. Objects in motion tend to stop dead every six seconds.
"We managed to make an NPC puke an undead monster."
"That sounds like a victory to me."

34. You can have three or more halves.

Like a half-dragon half-fiend half-ogre.

34. Only if your GM allows such creations, I wonder why so many GM would even allow such things.

34: The Half part of "Half-X" is just a name.  A Half-Dragon Half-Vampire Half-Elf has aspects of elves, humans, dragons, and vampires.
Hood - My first answer to all your build questions; past, present, and future.

Speaking of which:
Don't even need TO for this.  Any decent Hood build, especially one with Celerity, one-rounds [Azathoth, the most powerful greater deity from d20 Cthulu].
Does it bug anyone else that we've reached the point where characters who can obliterate a greater deity in one round are considered "decent?"

My first post on this page was about chopping people's heads off.

Just thought I'd point that out.

36. If throwing bat guano creates a huge, concussion-less explosion.

37. If the aforementioned huge explosions are incapable of lighting a campfire.
So you end up stuck in an endless loop, unable to act, forever.

In retrospect, much like Keanu Reeves.

38. All ore mines and rock quarries must have adamantine tools or employ mages who can cast stone shape in order to function properly because normal commoners/laborers with normal tools, literally, just won't cut it.
