78. ... there's an epic-level market for sleepwalking weaponsmiths.
79: You can't tell if the above quote is referring to people purchasing weapons which walk in their sleep, purchasing weaponsmiths which walk in their sleep, purchasing weapons crafted by a weaponsmith who walks in their sleep, purchasing weapons crafted by a weaponsmith who walks in his sleep which themselves in turn also walk in their sleep, or purchasing a sleep-walking weaponsmith who, while walking in his sleep, smiths weapons that themselves walk in their sleep.

81. As does punctuation for sentence fragment separation.

A gygaxian dungeon is like the world's most messed up game show.

Behind door number one: INSTANT DEATH!
Behind door number 2: A magic crown!
Behind door number 3: 4d6 giant bees, and THREE HUNDRED POUNDS OF HONEY!
They don't/haven't, was the point. 3.5 is as dead as people not liking nice tits.

Sometimes, their tits (3.5) get enhancements (houserules), but that doesn't mean people don't like nice tits.

Though sometimes, the surgeon (DM) botches them pretty bad...
Best metaphor I have seen in a long time.  I give you much fu.
Three Errata for the Mage-kings under the sky,
Seven for the Barbarian-lords in their halls of stone,
Nine for Mortal Monks doomed to die,
One for the Wizard on his dark throne
In the Land of Charop where the Shadows lie.

I have a hot linguist friend who likes D&D whom I do fun things with.  Reading that and going "true, her skills with her tongue can TOTALLY lead to some fun rules debates" is totally a 3.5 attitude.  Or maybe I'm just happy I have a cute geek friend or something :D

er?

21x 10 = 210

210 x .5 = 110

no matter, its sick, i like it.

You might be playing 3.5 if you can find people who can are epic enough to make kobolds strong enough to give it to mother nature up the ass, without waking her up or who are smart enough to argue about the hypothical thoretical implication of an out of print game with different laws of physics as a thought excersise that can't see that 210/2 is 105 and not 110...

for 3 pages.

83. Using a shield is either fairly ineffective, or, with enough investment, more effective than the weapon in your main hand.

84: Your DM believes the Core rules contain a campaign setting, and refuses to use other published settings because he believes they aren't WotC-offical products.

85: The best splat book for your class is the PHB.

48. A PC can go from being a no-name adventurer to overthrowing deities in a span of two months in game.

Hmm, an average of 13.5 encounters per level as I recall.  About 4 encounters per day.  270 encounters per 20 levels.  67.5 days.  Wow... it IS only 2 months and change O.o

A pretty intense 2 months though.. no downtime =)

I found that on WotC/GiantITP. I'm surprised someone else remembered that.

It's also mentioned at the Den in the Tome series.  They did a whole section on types of level advancement rate.

85. ...Figuring out your stats without magic items (for instance, in an AMF) is more of a pain in the ass than calculating the bonuses they give you.

battletoads war-toads

EDIT: dang it, war beast requires medium size.

how about adding spell fire instead of improvised weapon.

magebred spellfire toads, 15 con, accidentally hit them w/ a spell and your toast.

EDit:

its a shame that magebred only makes them int 2, int 3 and they could take a level of warlock and use summon swarm and EB.

Wouldn't they be CR 1 each (due to magebred), and therefore by some means of CR calculation be CR20? Now, I do believe most Level 20 characters can resist that damage, and even a lowly fireball can end the day for the poor toads.
Monks are pretty much the best designed class ever.

But it's not the tool's fault if you use it for something else and you fail utterly, such as trying to eat cereal with a butterknife, pounding nails with a screwdriver, blogging to voice your political opinions, and brushing your teeth with a hammer.
