God, it's insane over there.  Assuming we make this the new CO I foresee a problem:
Bandwidth.  We might take *a lot* and require some $ to pay for it.

What's the stance on advertisements to pay for the new community?  I'd stomach it.

I love the smileys.

If it gets to that, we'll put up a paypal donation link and/or googleads.  I hope we don't need to, but we pay for the site flat out and hosting (and all of the podcasting equipment), so if it gets too much we'll have to do something.

But bring it bitches!  Bring it!
All of my updates are on twitter!

This is my angry voice.  Text written in red, by me, is  an official moderator "suggestion"

Nox_Noctis from CO, reporting for duty. Credentials including using PHB II's Rebuilding to prove that you can make a character who ends up with only Prestige Class levels (initially explored by making a Soldier of Light 1 [Deities and Demigods]/Ruby Knight Vindicator 7 [Tome of Battle]), using the Planar Shepherd to give characters an effective strength (or constitution or dexterity with alternate grafts) score of infinity (allowing the character to bull rush planets, deal any amount of damage he or she so chooses, et cetera) at level 6. I feel my other contributions have been rather small and not worth mentioning.

Man, I sure want to go godwin all those threads. There needs to be some old-fashioned Hitler-slinging in there. :P We're so close, but not yet. I guess I'll just go read Werebat's troll again instead. Good times.

Advertising wouldn't bother me a bit.

PI, your reputation preceded you here too  :lol

What???  Did PheonixInferno show his face?  I'm so out of who is who now.

I had figured that he was 22_over_7 myself, and he's not really denying that claim. But I haven't seen him here yet.

I'd click a hundred ads a day, if need be. Note: Not entirely serious here.

OMG, nested quotes.  Don't break the forums folks...

So everyone here, apart from me, has actually accomplished something at the CO boards? So out of my league...

I can't really claim credit for anything.  I think I got the CO Diary ball rolling again, but I certainly wasn't the originator of the idea.

I'm just a long time lurker. I've posted a little, but optimization is a theoretical exercise for me as my group consists of people who either don't care to optimize, or aren't very good at it. I've brought a couple of characters to the table that made my DM shiver, but that's not saying much in my group. Still, its fun to see what can be done with the rules.

I was sure he was here... Just pious desires I guess. As I said some times ago "Where are thou, brother PI?"

Well, I inherited a challenge that makes my brain hurt on a daily basis. I suppose that is something. And then there's the trick involving infinite clones using only PHB and MM and I think no-one had used that before...

Edit: I am fairly sure PI has an account here. Very, very sure.

All I've done is make a build with 5400 base attacks in a single full attack action.

Dunno if that counts as accomplishment or not.

Pffft, 'I am not a D&D nerd, I just like the social aspect of it all' is like saying that you're watching Superbowl for the ads.

Googleads is my vote.

My only big project was lockdown 2.0 and the recent Fighter Archer thread.  That and helping Surreal make a better attack cascade (infinite more than 99%).

I do watch the superbowl only for the Ads.  I read during the football.

And considering how dull a sport American football is, I'd probably watch it for the ads too...

Hey now, American Football is quite good, if you know how to watch it.

I don't think I've accomplished much of note Over There. Usually, by the time I come up with something, it's already been done to death. I do like hanging out and watching the community develop and flow. Like I said in one of my long-winded posts: communities, both online and offline are a big research interest of mine. I had a CO diary (two!), but both games are on hiatus right now.
