I's here, folks - the DFA has flown over from WotC!   :)

Working on a consolidated "personal tactics" guide ATM.  It's a labor of love and will be HUGE, and since I don't have much of a life right now, may be a bit till it's up.  Still, I'm here - and it should be fun!

Looking forward to resurrecting the community, cats.

Good lord! One day and this thread grows from 4 pages to 17 pages?!

I just want to say that I have personal experience with these kinds of migrations - I was in Meg's position before, years ago, if not a mod. I don't want to go into details here, but I think I contributed to the collapse of a major website by starting a forum and bringing a large chunk of the community with me.
My work
The tier system in a nutshell:
Tier 6: A cartographer.
Tier 5: An expert cartographer or a decent marksman.
Tier 4: An expert marksman.
Tier 3: An expert marksman, cartographer and chef who can tie strong knots and is trained in hostage negotiation or a marksman so good he can shoot down every bullet fired by a minigun while armed with a rusted single-shot pistol that veers to the left.
Tier 2: Someone with teleportation, mind control, time manipulation, intangibility, the ability to turn into an exact duplicate of anything, or the ability to see into the future with perfect accuracy.
Tier 1: Someone with teleportation, mind control, time manipulation, intangibility, the ability to turn into an exact duplicate of anything and the ability to see into the future with perfect accuracy.
Great to have you here JJ! You know, I have suffered from a severe lack of roleplaying for the last four months and I've only had a single session during that time (obviously not counting PbPs) as all games seem to fall apart before they start. However, I am very hopeful with another campaign and your handbook inspired me to roll up a level 3 DFA and he is ready to kick butt!

Welcome to Novabomb as well! You found your way to the right place, that's for sure.

Ooooh, new place to scurry and lurk! Seems homey. I never contributed much to the CO boards, but I still respect all of you regulars, as well as Autumn, from what I know about her. Hope to have so good times here! :D

I'll toss my two cents in as another of the transplanting lurkers. Been around the CO boards for a long time, but barely, if ever posted, just read what went on there. Also from the Psiboards, as well as having done some work for DSP in the past. I'll probably be disappearing back into lurk mode aside from a few sparse posts, and I wish you well.

Awww.  You big softie!

Glad to be here!   :D

Level 3 is a good time to be a DFA.  They hit the mid-level blues from 9~10, but catch up again at 11.  Slump from 12~14, then from 15 on they shine like platinum.

We need to fire up a PbP crawl for some of us CO-types that runs from 1st and allows for crazy optimization.  I'd love to play with you, Tshern!  Maybe World's Largest, or something?

Where do you PbP?

Is it wrong that seeing so many of these names makes me all tingly?

Yes, it is wrong, but if we're all feeling it, and we're all wrong, does that mean 500 wrongs make a right?

Welcome, snowowl, welcome!

JanusJones: I game wherever I can. Lately I have been quite inactive with PbPs as well, but I've had my share of it at Dicefreaks, WotC and Myth-weavers. But yes, we absolutely need to get a CO PbP, but that would require someone to DM our merry troupe. Any volunteers?
