Q 195 On average, what's the standard number of free actions you let a player get in a round?

A195 I think this depends on the action in question.  Technically reciting an epic is a free action too :P

I usually just give them however many they want.
If you want a guideline, there's none in D&D proper, but Mutands and Masterminds, which is based on many of the same core mechanics, recommends 3+ either Int or Dex mod (presumably, for mental and physical free actions, respectively).

And yeah, it also depends on the actual action we're talking about.
It's all about vision and making reality conform to your vision. By dropping a fucking house on it.

Fair enough. Got a player who figured out a way to get 15 free actions a round. We're just wondering if he can do them all each round.

I usually just give them however many they want.

That sounds fair. I was thinking double the Dex, but 3+DEX or 3+INT sounds fine. He's got a Dex mod of +7 so he'd be able to do 10 a round. That's enough.

Q 196a Sun blade says it's a +2 bastard sword wielded as a short sword. Does this mean that it can be used in the off-hand as a light weapon, and do you not need the exotic weapon proficiency to use it like that?
Q 196b It also says that all sun blades are of "good" alignment and that any evil creature touching it will gain a negative level. Does this mean it counts as Good for getting past DR?

Just wanting to make sure I'm not reading it wrong.

Yes. It even explicitly states the latter.

True, but I still needed confirmation. My DM's got me paranoid because he tends to read things differently than I.

Confirmation won't exactly help with your DM.

Forget confirmation, what you need is a higher Ego.  You put up with a phenomenal amount of petty, stupid, un-fun bullshit from multiple DMs.  You can read for yourself quite clearly what the rules say, but you seek backup when somebody says they say something else.

Stand up for yourself, man, grow a spine.  You'll probably get into more conflicts but you'll likely come out of them in better shape.  And maybe you'll learn to use Rule -1 when you need to.

I have done that before, and it's gotten me kicked out of groups because they didn't like me questioning them. Manning up ends up with me not gaming anymore, and being alone. So I'm more careful about what I say, and how I do things. Being cautious isn't a bad thing.

Getting kicked out of a group that sucks isn't a bad thing.  You get a lot less incoming stress, and you've got more free time to look for a (or form your own) group that doesn't suck.

Q.197 - Forgotten, Times of Trouble, Epic Champaign, i'm an Epic Druid, and i need to find Mielikki's Avatar ASAP, of course, Divinations won't work, and soon no divine magic at all, so, suggestions? It can be a roleplay-based-tip, anything is welcome.

Look for whichever place has the greatest concentration of natural life, it's a sure bet. There's a good chance her avatar is an unicorn, as well, so you should keep your eyes peeled for those.
Gendou Ikari is basically Gregory House in Kaminashades. This is FACT.

Q 198 Is there an item out there gives you Time Stop? Even once a day?

Q 199 Is the bard the only class that's naturally proficient with the whip?

Not what I meant.  :p

Something like the stop watch in Castlevania. Something everyone can use.

X Stat to Y Bonus.
Q 174 Do elves and half-elves count as "fey" for prerequisites of feats?
A 174

No. You need to be of the Fey type for that.
Would Fey Bloodline from Dragon Compendium work?

Potion of wieldskill stapled to scroll of guidance of the avatar stapled to scroll of timestop?

I think there are boots of temporal acceleration lurking somewhere, though.  Also, maybe highest level weapon of legacy abilities?

I think fey bloodline wouldn't, unseelie fey template would.
