Currently planning on going with Noxatra - or rather catching up if she has left already.  Veldor's pretty interested in seeing if the Protectorate's airships use the same type of magic as Khorvaire ships.  Plus there's the whole ability to fight the Edge on their terms with a flying ship.  Visiting Father Valentinius should be much quicker after we have an airship, too.

I'm thinking of grabbing Luminous Armor but man, it's glowing and stuff.  Doesn't really jive with Veldor's current black leather jacket and leggings.  Decisions, decisions.

You've got no long duration summons? Hmm yeah I can spare you a dire dire weasel. Do you not have ranks in Animal Affinity? I remember the ride skill is folded into that skill.

Yeah, no long duration spells to conjure creatures to ride like mount or phantom steed.  I think I can make it with taking 10 on the checks for tricks the dire dire weasel already knows like "being used as a mount."

Bertha will at the very least tell Nox to wait until everyone has rested and prepared their new spells. It's only sensible to start off fresh. Partly because Bertha basically burned all her buffs on that last battle. If she wants to head out before that, she won't interfere, with the understanding that it's Noxatra's funeral.

Also, maybe I'm just missing something that has been discussed in the OOC thread before, but I'm finding massive amounts of conflicting information on Tome of Prowess skills. On the wiki page, some of the key abilities on the table don't match up with those on the skill description. The alternate forum thread you linked to has apparently outdated info, at least in the OP - there's a UMD skill, and no mention of some skills that the wiki mentions but has no description on (like Psychology).

Agita - unfortunately, ToP is not 100% complete. While I am bugging Tarkis as much as I can, the guy has a kid, so there's not much more work he can do right now to move it along. If there are any conflicts, use the text-trumps-table rule. Things that lack abilities will be played by ear for now, until the abilities are updated.

If you have specific questions, feel free to ask me about it, and I will resolve them with a ruling ASAP.

Mostly I'd like to know what exactly Psychology is supposed to do. I assume it incorporates Sense Motive and possibly some sorth of Knowledge, but other than that I have no idea what it should do.

Sense Motive is its main shtick, basically. All the skill abilities under old Sense Motive in the other thread should be part of it. That much is straight from the horse's mouth.

Alright, then I'm pretty much ready. Just need to reprepare spells assuming we can get Noxatra to sit still for the few hours that takes. I'll do that after I've finished reading through the textbook for my theoretical driver's license exam and taken a quick trial test.

About 12 hours of doing nothing (assuming you have selected dawn for prayer)...given OOC thats nothing, but IC that is rather boring, not to mention her prayer time would be before yours...possibly resulting in the same thing. Though, Meepo might have chance, if he is in the mood for another scolding.

Belial said they'd take a few days, not a few hours. And while he's an asshole, by virtue of being a devil he's also a pedant, so I'm inclined to take his word for it.
Also, how do you figure we can fly and rest at the same time? Resting in D&D is defined as not taking any stressful activity. I'm pretty sure flying counts.

That's it! If she can't just sit down and read a book, Nox could use those five hours to go back to Faerun and warn her church.

Usually? I don't, I just have the party Wizard cast Rope Trick.
Without Rope Trick, one guy stays up while the rest sleep, and they take turns. Sitting at the campfire while trying to not nod off isn't the same as flying around, though.

You get someone to take first watch, Noxatra would probably take the rest of them, though wake someone for prayer time.

Guess you could try and guilt her with Meepo's condition or some such.

Meepo isn't in the mood for scolding Noxatra. And if she can prep her spells first and move off, she's free to go. Meepo will however tell the party that he's going to Hell and it cannot be delayed (then again he already prayed and got his spells ready, so he's fine).

So let's finalize the plan.

At hour 0. Meepo starts praying for spells, since his spells were already prepped way beforehand and thus he had more than 24 hours inbetween recharges. Old dude don't cast spells all day long everyday.

So Nox can start her prep, tell everyone her plans and what hour she needs to go. Meepo stays long enough to finish his Commune. Veldor stays as long as he needs for his Divination. Bertha stays as long as she needs for recharge.

I assume 8 hours here, which kinda brings us to around midnight or a little past it.

Veldor and Bertha can get there ASAP. I believe bear base speeds are more than 30ft/move. Meepo will go to Hell straight after his Commune. There's safe passage guaranteed by Belial and Kurtulmak stays in Hell anyway.

So technically there's probably at best 8-10 hour gap between Nox and Bertha + Veldor.
