Warshaper + tentacles. Easy enough. Chameleon Warblade + Warshaper + lots of tentacle attacks. Warshaper doesn't restrict the number you get, after all.

Edit: Correction to spelling.

A gygaxian dungeon is like the world's most messed up game show.

Behind door number one: INSTANT DEATH!
Behind door number 2: A magic crown!
Behind door number 3: 4d6 giant bees, and THREE HUNDRED POUNDS OF HONEY!
They don't/haven't, was the point. 3.5 is as dead as people not liking nice tits.

Sometimes, their tits (3.5) get enhancements (houserules), but that doesn't mean people don't like nice tits.

Though sometimes, the surgeon (DM) botches them pretty bad...
Best metaphor I have seen in a long time.  I give you much fu.
Three Errata for the Mage-kings under the sky,
Seven for the Barbarian-lords in their halls of stone,
Nine for Mortal Monks doomed to die,
One for the Wizard on his dark throne
In the Land of Charop where the Shadows lie.

It's obvious that neither she nor her players know much about the actual D&D rules. So if she wants something simple, and doesn't care about the rules, just make something up. It's not like the players are going to get a peek at her character sheet and yell, "Hey! You're cheating!" So don't use classes at all, and make something like this:

  • Ability scores: Str=24, Dex=16, Con=16, Wis=12, Int=18 (can outsmart the characters), Cha=14
  • HP: Twice as many as a PC has
  • AC: Take the average PC's attack bonus, and add 15. This way, she'll be hit about 1/4 of the time.
  • Race: Something that can fly. Maybe harpy? It doesn't really matter, since rules are being ignored.
  • Hidden Magic: Two options here. Either use psionics (probably a bad idea, since the DM will have to learn more rules) or use standard magic (wizard?). She has some custom spell or magic item (immune to forsaking) which hides her spellcasting ability. Maybe this spell/item also changes her appearance in some way, so the revelation that she's a spellcaster comes with a dramatic visual effect.
  • Magic: Illusion would be a good way to accompany the powerful melee ability the DM seems to want. To keep things simple, just give her a nice set of spells (Mirror Image, Major Image, Shadow Evocation) and say she can use each one a certain number of times per day.

Effectively, the DM will have created a "monster" who happens to look somewhat like a character with normal classes.

Add in a lot of debuff abilites, and combined with the illusions, just name her baba yaga :P

  • TPK FTW!
Ok I just skimmed the beginning but what about a X / fist of the forest / primeval, she could go barbarian up to 7 and take the lion totem variant (gains a roar that does aoe based on str), Change into a ape (asain themed kung fu master kinda) gain stupid armor and then precede to laydown the hurt.

Don't forget the hut!
[spoiler]
A couple of water benders, a dike, a flaming arrow, and a few barrels of blasting jelly?

Sounds like the makings of a gay porn film.
...thanks

replicable via spell, even, so it can go with her!

Edit: bonus points if you combine it with the tentacle shenanigans from above, and made him Bob Yaga, Baba Yaga's little brother.

I figured out what the Ranger is doing.

He took the Favored Enemy -- Arcanists (via Arcane Hunter) option from Complete Mage, and the Nemesis feat

http://www.realmshelps.org/cgi-bin/feats.pl?Nemesis

What are the main ways to overcome that? How about the things that are NOT covered via arcanists?

AMF, Mindblank (possibly, depending on DM interpretation), Nondetection (again, possibly, depending on DM interpretation), or a custom item that does it, for DM Fiat.

Easiest way around it is the Favored Enemy Arcanists ability, since it specifically only works on creatures who cast spells or invocations, but not spell-like abilities and such. Just don't use anything that casts spells or uses invocations.

I'm going to make a new thread asking for help with Arcane Hunter + Nemesis, it's kinda a separate topic from this thread...

This actually works on people who do know how the system works, before now i have just decided an AC HP and attack bonus for an npc. Provided you know what range the values should be in then it is all good.
