Pay to have people lend the slot
Or make Similacrums of yourself or other high level casters. :D With that epic rod, you can even ignore the XP cost, IIRC.

A couple of water benders, a dike, a flaming arrow, and a few barrels of blasting jelly?

Sounds like the makings of a gay porn film.
...thanks

You're a freaking dragon.  Read the bottom of page 4 in races on the dragon, right hand portion of the sidebar.

Then replace as many levels of sorcerer as you can with "signer of concordance".

Oh so... even without the dragonblood subtype, she would qualify for the dragonblood sorcerer alternate class features? And she would qualify as dragon descended, despite not having the "draconic creature" template?

And Singer of Concordance requires divine spells and lots of knowledge religion...

yes.. you also automatically qualify for anything that requires dragonblood even if you don't meet the other requirements... such as the previously mentioned prestige class.

But...3rd level divine spells! And knowledge religion!  She is a dragon descended creature, and doesn't specifically have the ability to cast divine spells as arcane spells, does she?? I don't get that reading of it, I dont think it's saying it doesn't also have to meet the other entry requirements, it specifically says that you have to be the type of dragon that can cast divine spells as arcane to get it...

Dragonwrought makes you a true dragon. True dragons get to ignore prereqs for prcs, per that mentioned sidebar they said to read.

They don't/haven't, was the point. 3.5 is as dead as people not liking nice tits.

Sometimes, their tits (3.5) get enhancements (houserules), but that doesn't mean people don't like nice tits.

Though sometimes, the surgeon (DM) botches them pretty bad...
Best metaphor I have seen in a long time.  I give you much fu.

The clause is there so dudes like silver dragons can enter that prestige class, even though they only get arcane spells from racial spellcasting.

You only automatically qualify for things that require the dragon-blooded subtype, but it's still a good deal.  You don't need to be a true dragon, just an ordinary dragon, so a pseudodragon (which has the dragon type) would work just as well, for example.

I don't think I could get that by my DM, because the text in Singer does seem to override that, yes *I* know it's flavor text, and *I* know the sidebar on page 4 is badly worded, but in Singer's entry itself, it says how True Dragons can enter it, "True dragons with the ability to cast divine spells as arcane spells could enter the class, but not many do."  Not to mention how the class itself seems to think you will have a good number of cleric features...

I *would* however, say that perhaps someone in her backstory has it...

Without the thing with dragons automatically qualifying for it True dragons with the ability to cast divine spells as arcane spells couldn't enter the class as they are no longer divine spells and wont meet the spellcasting requirement.

So you guys are saying, by the reading of that sidebar, that she could take one level of sorcerer, and then immediately hop over for 10 levels of that class?

....Yaaa, how about nooo... In fact I'm gonna plead with my DM to not allow Epic Spellcasting in the game... I'd rather just focus on lots of quickening and multiple casting of lower level spells...

You could.  It's not really the best prestige class, but unlike sorcerer it actually has class features.  It's more filler than anything else - I tend to put two or three levels into it at max - the bonus domain is nifty, but that's about it.

There's a reason it advances any kind of spellcasting, and not just divine, after all.

Minor detail on Epic Spells, as opposed to Spells Heightened (or similar) to 10th level (and therefore called Epic) ...
Epic Spells only go by that system, with Spellcraft determining the number available.
http://www.d20srd.org/srd/epic/spellsIntro.htm#epicSpellsPerDay
10th level+ versions of 9th level (or lower spells) take place on the more normal spell caster system.

Dragonwrought makes you a true dragon. True dragons get to ignore prereqs for prcs, per that mentioned sidebar they said to read.

Wait ... WHAT ?? ! ! !

Oversimplification, but it was the point I was trying to get at.

So... what's the full list of PRC's that require the Dragonblood Subtype? Are they *all* in Races of the Dragon?

Yeah, both of them are in there.  There are a few initiate feats in Dragon Magic you can hax your way into, but that's about it.

What do you all think about the Brass Dragon Bloodline comments. Is that a good way to describe it?

Needs more Tainted Scholar 2.  Spend some of your money on the Savage Species ritual that gives you the Evil subtype but for some reason does not require that you be evil.

Proceed to Planar Binding a Taint Elemental and that other thing that breathes taint gas.  Use both to maximize your Corruption and Depravity scores netting you two free general feats when your taint levels reach severe.

When you hit epic take Improved Heighten Spell.  IHP + Tainted Scholar's Blooded Metamagic (I think that's the name) = All your metamagic is free, just remember to enchant for ability damage immunity.

Nooo my character isn't evil and isn't going to use one of the evil subsystems!

Who said anything about "being" evil?   You could be a Saint still if that's what your heart desired, you would just be a Severely Tainted Saint with the [Evil] subtype who uses blood magic to alter his spells.  :p
