Ask an artificer to stick it on.
Who's that answer for?

You. He's talking about the infusion that allows you to add weapon abilities so you are able to add Bane against whatever to the weapon.

So if you have an artificer he can do it. Interesting. Too bad Artificers aren't allowed in the campaigns I'm in.

Greater magic weapon + reserves of strength could work as well... not that you can use that.

Or just use spells or things that deal energy damage.

Don't know reserves of strength. Where's that from? I know GMW can get to a max of +5 by itself. Does that stack with say a +1 flaming burst longsword, minus the initial +1?

The reason I'm asking is because of the melee characters who can't use spells that deal energy damage (ie fighters, samurai, barbarians, etc). I know the ranged casters will be the important ones, but there's gotta be something for the melee users too.

How about two level dip into incarnate or two feats burned for the same thing, crystal helm and then binding it.

Q: 85

What are some good eternal wands to pick up? For buffing purposes -- those spells with durations in hours per level.

Edit: Fixed the typo. Asking questions after sixty hours of no sleep can result in mistakes.

If that's for me, I don't think that's allowed yet. The DM hasn't had time to read it over yet.

@ Vomica -- I think you mean "What". They're only available up to 3rd level spells, but there's nothing wrong with limitless cure light.

you can make a Non-EPIC weapon overcome EPIC DR .... cheaply... here how:

BANE .... vs the correct creature the Enhancement bonus gets a +2 Boost ... notice:

"Bane: A bane weapon excels at attacking one type or subtype of creature. Against its designated foe, its effective enhancement bonus is +2 better
Yes, assuming you know what you're fighting. So how much does that cost to add to a holy avenger? Where are the rules that say it costs 720k to make it epic? How epic is it? Just +6, or +7?

Better than Bane though is True Bane from one of the Dragon Magazines. It's a +3 ability that turns any weapon into a bane weapon against any creature after it's hit them (not unlike the original Shadow Strike ability). Now those abilities you want added to a regular weapon.
the table at the beginning of the magicweapons section of the ELH shows going from +5 to +6 is "+720k".

They don't/haven't, was the point. 3.5 is as dead as people not liking nice tits.

Sometimes, their tits (3.5) get enhancements (houserules), but that doesn't mean people don't like nice tits.

Though sometimes, the surgeon (DM) botches them pretty bad...

I see what you did there. So it still counts as a +5 weapon despite the fact that only paladin's can access that. Makes sense. Using the rule where its price goes down a certain percentage for every limit placed on the item (ie paladin only).

Q86: The feat "Adamantine Body" says that your base land speed is reduced to 20 feet AND you are considered to be wearing heavy armor.  Does this mean that a medium sized warforged speed is 15 feet and a small sized warforged (MM III) has a speed of 15 feet as well?

no. Spd is 20. The heavy armor line is for class feature access, running speed, etc.

Q87: Which base classes, apart from Warblade, act as Fighter levels or Fighter levels -X for the purpose of feat qualification?

Fighter.  Other than that, none.
I am constantly amazed by how many DM's ban Tomb of Battle.  The book doesn't even exist!

There's a PrC that I cannot recall the name of that counts, as well.

There's another one that's not in the ToB I found last week and was shocked to learn about. I think it's divine flavored. I'll have to try to find it. It stacks with fighter levels, or counts as stand alone ones, for qualification.

I dont have my books so I could be wrong but for some reason I thought Favored Soul from Complete Divine did that also.

Q 88 When a ranger goes up in level and gains favored enemy, that character gets to choose an additional grouping of creatures, and increase any creature group damage by +2. As in Orcs +4, Oozes +2 when he chooses oozes as their second enemy. My question is, what happens with the slayers FE? You have to choose a psionic creature at 1st level, like mind flayers or aberrations, and that's fine. That makes sense. But what about later when you get the next level of FE? You still have to choose another psionic creature, but what about that additional +2? Can you add that to any of your previous groupings? Like, having Orcs +6, Oozes +2, Aberrations +2? Or are you stuck with putting that +2 on only psionic creatures?
I reject your reality, and substitute my own.
