Well, maybe the Swordsage would if they had taken the unarmed progression, but that's about it (and the DM might argue that).
By RAW, or atleast my conservative interpretation of it, no. Though DMs are well within their right to allow it, since many of those by-chart things are nearly formulaic.
Yeah, I think the problem is that they actually use the monk as an example, and I couldn't think for the life of me what the point of being a Monk 4/Bloodline 3 would be if you didn't get any benefit. If by RAW it doesn't count, then would good would being a Monk 7 do you?

Okay, that's good to know. So you DO get something out of the deal.

You'd have to Wayback it, but there was a thread on 339 involving stating out a predator that was really damned nasty, and pretty accurate.
I did a search check, but the only thing mentioned were the creatures from Warhammer 40k having monsters that'd be the most accurate. The ones they mentioned for D&D are closer to the aliens that Ripley fought. They just need a tail added on.
What D&D monster did they mention, out of curiosity?

And ported from the last thread:

Q 8: A Drow has the At Home in the Deep feat, and Intensify Darkness.  At Home in the Deep states:
Quote

Intensify Darkness allows someone with a darkness spell-like ability to make it into a deeper darkness spell-like ability (longer duration, wider radius, etc.)

Does that last sentence of At Home in the Deep cause it to not function for you if you change your darkness SLA to deeper darkness?
The greatest trick the devil ever pulled was convincing the world he didn't exist.

The Kython.

For added measure, the 40k creature was the Tyranids.

Q 9 What happens if a Specialist Wizard selects Evocation as one of his banned schools, but then takes the Arcane Disciple feat and selects the War Domain (which includes Divine Power.. a divine evocation spell)?

He can't cast it without that feat from Lost Empires of Faerun that gets around banned schools.

Q10: What are some ways to get bardic music outside the bard class, either before or at 4th level?

Alternately, I'm sure there is a thread with a list of the various ways, so just point me to it.
Witty sayings? Nah, not right now. Currently playing Dwarf Fortress and League of Legends. I really recommend League of Legends.

Q 11 Are there any rules on wielding a weapon with more than two hands to add more damage? If so, where can I find them?

I think it's in Savage Species. I know we found a rule while looking for it, but can't remember the book the DM used. The thing is though that the weapon's custom built to support the extra hands.

Savage Species is correct, though I cannot remember the page number. It essentially states you add an extra 1/2 str mod per extra hand after two.

And surprisingly enough, the extra amount of money you pay for this isn't astronomical.

Q7Besides taking Arcane Disciple, any way to add Divine Power to a Wizard's spell list?

If your DM allows Extra Spell to add spells that aren't on your class list, you could add it this way.

Also the wyrm wizard prestige class.

By a strict reading those two don't function well together. While Deeper Darkness "functions like darkness" that little bit doesn't help since Deeper Darkness is another spell of the darkness descriptor.

What are the best time-altering or negative energy planes to use with Planar Shepherd?

Thanks :)

A12: Oh god. Dal Quor has a 10:1 time trait, which is about 1 minute to each round. If you're looking for Planar Shepherd abuse, it's your plane.

78% of DM's started their first campaign in a tavern. If you're one of the 22% that didn't, copy and paste this into your signature

A 13

There was/is a commercial on TV for a brekfast cereal named Cinnamon Toast Crunch that had an actor in the role of various "experts" and whatnot showing off all the cool stuff he can do. Then the kids held a bowl of the cereal under his nose and said "But can you see why kids love the taste of Cinnamon Toast Crunch?", and he always hilariously misguessed. Read: It's a meme, don't think too hard about it.
It's all about vision and making reality conform to your vision. By dropping a fucking house on it.
