Again, not worried about that right now. I'll see how money looks afterwards. To put it simply, they've never had to run from a fight because they've never lost. Hence the arrogance and ignorance. If you brought teleportation into the mix, they'd simply laugh at you and tell you to leave. Granted, you'd be the one laughing at the end, and possibly making that 10k into 100k because now they're lives would be in danger.

Q232: Can anyone explain to me how the Tome of Arcane Lore allows you to prepare any and every spell from it, if it supposedly only allows you to activate it once per day?

Q232a: Failing that, can anyone point to me where the Eidetic Memory version of the Wizard is from (I believe he gives up a familiar in order to always know any spell in his spellbook, or something)?

Bump since the page turned.

Bumping

Q 233 If a paladin is constantly facing off against neutral creatures, especially chaotic ones, how does he make use of his Smite Evil? Or is there a substitute that they can use? Be preferable if they aren't LG.

Q 234 If a paladin is large size or bigger, what special mount are they supposed to get?

Q235: What ways are there to reduce the cost of crafting non-magical items (mostly weapons and alchemical items, but tips for any kind of non-magical item are welcome)?

Q236:
Is there any other way besides Song of the White Raven to reduce the amount of time required to activate Bardic Music? Like say down to a move action?

A236: The Harmonize and Greater Harmonize spells (Races of Stone) can reduce bardic music to a move action (and I think the greater version also drops maintaining it to a move or a swift action, too). I'm away from books right now, so don't quote me on this.

It's a non-action to maintain, per the phb, except in one specific case.

A 237: I'd say Weapon Aptitude from Warblade, but not sure on that.

Aptitude would work if flurry were a feat. Or if you used aptitude with one of the feats that adds a specific weapon to the list of flurry-compatible weapons.
Shh. My common sense is tingling. . .

Shou Disciple might let you do that, but I don't know for sure.
I am constantly amazed by how many DM's ban Tomb of Battle.  The book doesn't even exist!

He's saying that you take one of the feats from the Eberron Campaign Setting that adds a specific melee weapon (longsword, longspear) to the list of weapons you can use flurry with.

Understand that such an interpretation of the rules is questionable, and your DM may not allow it.

A34 iirc there is mention about DMs having to find suitable mounts for large-sized players. That said, there are ways to force a different mount for such a large paladin by RAW. The cohort variant is the most flexible but the dragon mount is the coolest  :smirk
