Fights do seem to slow things down, so in future how would you like me to handle initiative?
I'm running a PbP for the first time, and Veekie suggested that I (the DM) roll all "passive" rolls for the players.  This includes initiative, saves, and any skills like Spot or something that might be used reflexively.

It basically saves you from waiting for a response from everyone.  So, for example: a fight might start with you making Spot and Listen checks for everyone to see who's surprised (if applicable) and with you rolling Initiative.  Then, when you first announce the fight, you can list who is and isn't surprised, and what order everyone acts in, all in one post with no waiting time.

We'll see if everyones okay with me using invisible castle for that...

Fine with me, as long as you don't cheat without warning . . . .  :D

Probably will make everything faster, which is definitely good.

well since everyone is on at different times i have to wait for all of you to post init, and then we have to wait for everyone to act.  Theoretically a big fight could slow us down a few days.

Generally you should just let everyone post their actions and then sort them out into initiative order once they are all in.  This helps with speeding it up a little.

would it be objectionable to arrange initiative by order of when people are able to show up?

Yes because 3 out of 3 people (who have posted) have spoken for a system that has been ignored.

I find the everyone says what they'll do (with some contingency). Dm runs actions in initiative order. Repeat.

Some of you do not have what languages you speak on your character sheets.  Can I get those?

Just added them. Chose some pretty generic ones, though. Is there a list of prevalent languages from where I am or just generally common languages sitting around somewhere?

The Monster Manual should have a list of languages Kobolds have as common secondaries.  An theres a language list in the PHB, but really you can take what you wnat

A-ha, danke danke.  :D

Also, I never got any fix-notes or such on the items for the samurai class. Might they be present in a future time?
