Help with a Barbarian/Warshaper's equipment
« on: April 22, 2010, 11:53:26 PM »
Hello, I'm currently building a Changeling Barbarian 4/Warshaper 1 for an RP heavy urban campaign, set in Eberron.  The city of Sharn, to be specific.

My stats are 18 Str, 14 Dex, 18 Con, 12 Int, 9 Wis, 11 Cha, and my feats are Power Attack and Reckless Rage.  I'm also using the Trapkiller variant from Dungeonscape, if that makes any difference.

So, with this information, what would be good equipment to get with standard WBL, using pretty much any 3.5 book?

Anklets of Translocation, MiC.

Ooo, definitely taking a pair of those, thanks for reminding me of those.  How about armor or weaponry?  I know I have the Warshaper's ability, but those don't do much damage, and I plan on using those mostly if I can't access other weapons.

+1 eager warning gauntlet? when you can afford it? until then, a single +1 eager warning shuriken should suffice.

Yeah, that costs 18,000 gp.  I have 9,000.  And just having a single shuriken with that applied seems a bit cheesy, which I'd prefer to avoid.

so the problem is that the cost is over nine-thousand?

...did you set up that joke on purpose?
seems rather unlikely, doesn't it?

Around here, not really ... :)  Hell, that joke was a layup compared to some of the mental gymnastics that goes on around here ...   :P

Yeah, I just finished picking up what I need.  Thanks for trying to help.  I settled on a Type I Shax's Indispensible Haversack, as well as a little bit of weaponry and armor.
