I suddenly had an image of a lich who wears a gelatinous human like a suit and exposes his hand to cast spells.

Somehow I get the image of Bill Cosby riding around in a giant jello mold.

My brain is somehow trying to amalgamate these two ideas... it's not pretty.

Bill cosby as a lich would be truly terrifying.

Now I have the image of Bill Cosby, George Carlin and Bill Hicks as a trio of liches serving as our society's social commentators for the rest of eternity.  The ooze is there if they need a prop.

Now just add in the vampire Monty Pythons and you are set for an eternity of comedy.

Make the pudding the phylactery.

Come to think of it, is there a rule preventing you from making your phylactery a liquid? Dump it into the ocean and those pesky do-gooders will never be able to find it, much less destroy it... and in the process you will taint the world! *cue ominous laughter*

Hell, make it an Amulet of Ooze Riding, permanency invisibility on it and stick it in an ooze.  I'm sure you can figure out some way to make sure that ooze will never be defeated...  ;)

Get a Dweomerkeeper to cast an Invisible Fabricate with Supernatural Spell. Su Spell negates the material component, so it can be created out of nothing, and it's mundanely invisible. That's always a good start.

The amulet is in the ooze. The ooze is the pudding in the jacuzzi that the very naked Cosby lich is in. He gestures suggestively to you and whispers "let's boogie".

Can't have other enchantments either.

Yeah, they're pretty sucky restrictions.  Nonbroken, but uninteresting.

Well, frak.  Well the invisibility was a tag on bit, it could still work with some tweaking.

Build a golem around it? Not a big one, a small, ridiculously tough one warded against all means of detection and location you can think of.

Highly inappropriate fine-sized items are great phylacteries... After all, everyone ignores the Lich's emerald studded dildo, if only out of sheer distaste.

Theres a certain danger of them nuking it all out of sheer disgust, however.

hmm...Could a halfling lich ride around in an ooze that has filled the innards of an iron golem?  It'd be like iron...halfman.

Found a good phylactery for Cosby. Nobody would dare destroy it:

I am constantly amazed by how many DM's ban Tomb of Battle.  The book doesn't even exist!

Why would you even do this? It hurts my eyes and looks like you ate your keyboard before suffering an attack of explosive diarrhea.

If using Genesis to hide your phylactry, set it at -300 degrees farenheit.  See how do-gooders fare with a liquid atmosphere.

my lich's phlactery is actually one of the components inside a suit of clockwork armor I keep around my lair.
I do not suffer from paranoia; I enjoy every second of it.
