ok Guys heads up I am giveing you till Sunday 1 PM to finish off your character back storys for i am giveing extra EXP first post is after I finish giveing it out.

By the way, which time zone is that? Many of us live in different areas of the world, so saying just "1 pm" doesn't really help when 1 pm is different for everyone.
It's 12:59 PST, and I just turned mine in.  :D

1:00 exactly upon posting. But yeah, I probably missed the intended 1pm...

For reasons I don't have the time to go into here, I'm skipping this.
But there are plenty of people here so I think it will be all right ;)

Right now I am just too busy.  Perhaps middle of the week I'll be free.

Sorry guys the timing for me is really bad right now.  But I do want to play.  Let me know what to do.  I'll check back tomorrow.

Still no baby yet, but even after she is born i should be able to post at least once a day. If i'm just sitting at home bored it will probably be like today where i'm just constantly checking to see if someone posted, being an IT guy when most of the office is out makes it hard to pretend to be busy.

Ok, I'm confused. You keep switching gendered pronouns- is the Commander male or female?  ???

@StormCrow: is there any way to increase my spellbook contents? Is there any library that I can/would have access to, by virtue of my background or being in the shadow core?
OOC-well for that matter he could just ride on my sword, that's about 15' ;)

Read thoughts is sadly not a constant effect, so you do not have to do it for everyone. I will most likely use it while questioning people, gathering information, and sneaking past people. I used in the waiting room so they could gauge everyone that they might be working with.

Storm I meant to ask, with Mindlink up can Krisrath make bluff/diplo/interaction attempts through Maglynn?

Will you be posting DCs for us to know what our characters should be reacting too?

Oh, yeah, I didn't make a listen check. I figured that the DM makes my character's listen checks 'behind the screen.' Stormcrow, do you just want to make our listen, spot, move silently, etc checks in secret?

yes there is a few areas were you can increses your spell book contents, for the shadow core keeps libarys / safe houses for that, as well in co tery you have access to the main wizzards guild libary in the capital

Also, do you want me to roleplay finding these spells or can we handle it 'off camera'? I really need to fill out that spell book, heh.

Yep, totally fine if you want to do a lot of the Listen and such checks for us.  Can save time, hassle, and lets us not know stuff if for some reason we all fail.

Agreed, passive checks rolled by the DM will save loads of time.

incidentally, since my character is somewhat well known in the shadow core, should people have a knowledge check or something to have heard of me? I'm not the tarrasque or anything, but I'm still known for my skill, if running headlong at an enemy whist trading any hope of shrugging off the counterattack for extra power can be counted as skill.
there is roughly a 99% chance that this post is an obscure reference to SOMETHING.
