I'll look into it. But how about Abberation Wild Shape? I already have the book, and Aberrations have some interesting abilities...

Aberration Wild Shape is great, but you have to be Humanoid to qualify for it.  If you're an Outsider, like you've already stated, you can't get it.  MMV has a few awesome Aberrant wild shape options though.

Actually, I'm only an Outsider while under the effect of Demonbinding. So unless I do it every minute (which I can, if I choose), I'm not always an Outsider. I can Wildshape into an Abberation, and then become an Outsider.

However, a friend reminded me that an Archivist can get Greater Anyspell. And with it, Polymorph/Draconic Polymorph. So I'll stick to that. One can even get the Transformation Domain for Polymorph, but that's not possible for a Drow.

Proportional Wild Shape perhaps, as a Large creature?  (read : considered large when it's advantageous, as in now!)  Powerful Build ftw.

And does absolutely nothing the way Wildshape works now, as I understand it (it used to, though). Not that I'm an expert on that, mind.

No, you're right.  Since the changes to Wild Shape, that feat is worthless.

It just occurred to me that I've missed something obvious! While being a Warblade gives me IHS, Uncanny Dodge, Punishing Stance, Full BAB and a d12 HD, as well as access to higher level Iron Heart stuff, there is another option.

Swordsage.

Yes, taking Swordsage instead of Warblade would delay entry to Eternal Blade, by 1 or 2 levels, which is bad, and it would delay the acquisition of Multiweapon Fighting Feats, as well as Robilar's Gambit, and I can forget about Stormguard Warrior. ...but, I'd get 3 important things: WIS to AC (while wearing Light Armor, no less!), Weapon Focus as a Bonus Feat, and the ability to take Shadow Hand as a Feat, adding GREATLY to me damage output. Oh, and I'd save 12K on a Cloak of Charisma and gain another Lesser Invocation.

I'm on the fence about this one.

Your opinion, guys?

Other than the above-mentioned option, I also have the option of being a Wizard or a Sorcerer, and getting Draconic Polymorph. Ever seen a 10-armed Marilith? Well, now you can!

...I seriously need to get that spell somehow. But what can I drop? Dark Knowledge and Archivist spells are far better than Wizard spells for this. Can I make do without the MIC, maybe?

I personally love swordsage maneuvers. some of the shadow hand ones are just golden for an assassin type. stalker in the night, for instance, is pure win.

You can wait for an Arena milestone and use a wish. (It'll work, I've gotten BotWT with a wish, even though I was a cleric and didn't have SpC either :p)

Thinking about it, here's a table for basic comparison:
Swordsage // Warblade
d8 // d12
Shadow Blade (+DEX) // Punishing Stance (+1d6)
AC Bonus (+4 AC) // Punishing Stance (-2 AC)
9 BAB (Eternal Blade ECL 12) // 10 BAB (Eternal Blade ECL 11)
Gain a Bonus Feat // Lose a Feat (net difference = 2 Feats)
Delayed Feat Usage, no Stormguard Warrior // Stormguard Warrior (!) + Robilar's Gambit + IMWF at correct levels.
Swordsage Maneuvers, IHS at a high ECL  // Iron Heart Surge (!)
+1 Initiative, Reflex as a Good Save / Uncanny Dodge, +2 Reflex
Horrible, Horrible, Recovery // Swift Action Recovery

Swordsage it is, then!
