Heh, well, the fire elemental isn't THAT hard really, I just don't have much focus to spare between assignments coming from all directions.

Just need a flame aura, flame immunity, pyroblast and flight on the same basic chassis as the Air one I've already done. Of course, Mira works just fine with one short.

Aw, that's easy. :D

Flame Aura
Elemental, Fire
Strike (10) (50) (1/rk)
Extras: Aura (Burst or Explosion) (+1), Duration (Sustained) (+2), Selective Attack (+1)
Flaws: None
Power Feats: None
Drawbacks: None
Effect: Damage
Action: Free
Range: Touch
Area: Aura: 50-ft. Burst or 100-ft. Explosion

Like this? The Selective attack extra is there so you don't burn us. :P Depending on how much coverage you want, you can go either Burst or Explosion for the aura. Of course, you can always lower the rank to make it cheaper.

Updated Pauline's sheet. Also, here's an idea for the 'Arbiter of Battle' Noble Phantasm that was proposed for valkyries (specifically Brynhildr) here.

Supreme Arbiter - Gift of the Ultimate Decision
Noble Phantasm
Probability Control (14) (84) (6/rk)
Extras: Area (Perception) (+1), Jinx (+1), Selective Attack (+1)
Flaws: Limited to Jinx (-1)
Power Feats: None
Drawbacks: None
Effect: Alteration
Action: Reaction
Range: Touch
Area: Perception
Duration: Instant
Saving Throw Will DC 24

The ability to decide the outcome of a battle without fail, given to Odin's valkyries. It turns sure hits into wild misses, sidesteps into blunders, and counterattacks into lethal openings.
I really want to give this the No Save extra as well, but that would make the cost even more prohibitive than it already is (112, over two thirds of the 180 pp at PL 12 servant would get to start out).
It also needs a better name than Supreme Arbiter, perhaps something related to Valhalla.

Alternatively, it could ba a Drain (All Traits) effect, as Prime suggested in the other thread.

Jane Smith, alias Nova - I swear to all gods of CO, I'll think of a more original last name than Smith. Also, even if it would fit, I refuse to call her Starfire.

After consuming a dead sun god, Jane's body has turned into a miniature star. Though she looks normal on the outside (when wearing casual clothes, anyway), the inside of her body is equivalent to the core of a star. As a result, she is far heavier and tougher than her stature would indicate, and the energy released by the nuclear fusion reactions in her body make her incredibly strong. She doesn't take very kindly to jokes about her weight, though.

As her bodily functions are powered by nuclear fusion, Jane doesn't age and has no need for air, food, or drink. Similarly, since fusion relies on heat and pressure, effects with the heat descriptor and high-pressure environments don't harm her.

Jane can look through the huge, blood-red eye sticking out of her chest, which 'sees' with gamma rays. No, that's not dangerous at all, shush you. For some reason, even though it can see through solid objects, it can be blocked by a shirt, so it needs to be exposed to function properly. This is totally not just an excuse to make it noticeable and save points.

By overriding security protocols and trampling all over any nagging thoughts of "I really shouldn't do this", Jane removes all restrictions on her inner fusion, turning into an actual, honest-to-god miniature star in human form. Of course, it's only so long before the failsafes assert themselves and knock her back down, but how long do you really need to be a mini-star to kick ass and take names? She has 75 pp to assign to various powers and traits, with which she buys the following two additional powers.

Beauty is only skin deep, they say. When in Meltdown Form, that little bit flies right out of the window (with sanity and personal safety lying well-done on the grill). Y'know how the sun looks like the friendly, yellow face of some fat kid (think Teletubbies), but is actually a huge ball of fire floating in the cold, unforgiving void of space? Jane ain't a cute chick anymore, she's a goddamn star. Her skin turns into the raging fire it's supposed to be, and the sheer awesomeness of her form (some would say "the heat emanating from her body") burns down nearly everything in range.

Okay, so this was inspired mostly by two sources - one, Utsuho's backstory and part of her appearance (only the gross eye on her chest), and a Radioactive Man comic I once read where RM died and Fallout Boy removed the lightning bolt on his head (which acts as a control rod) during the funeral. Turns out doing that allowed the last little bit of fission in him to start a chain reaction, reviving him... but also setting him on the way to a big kaboom. Also, Radioactive Man is a classic Flying Brick, so that much influnce is obvious.
In this case, the "control rod" takes the form of a futuristic device implanted on Jane's arm that she can turn off as a Standard action. Then she's got three minutes to unleash hell before she turns back to normal, nekkid and tired. The Blast power can probably be substituted for something else, thoughts are welcome (adding the Extended Reach feat to her unarmed attack for much of the same fluff could be a start). Help on streamlining the descriptors is also welcome, though I kinda like the Oh Shit Run and Oh The Humanity ones.

Also, Hero Lab is fucking handy, even if I can't save or print the sheets.

Some more separate powers that may be used on a character in the future. Three are based on the Stranger With the Burning Eyes Tome PrC, the other on Touhou's Hourai Elixir.

Quote
Burning Soul
Effect: Mental
Range: Perception
Cost: 6pts/rank
Action: Standard
Duration: Continuous
Saving Throw: Power Check vs. Will

You can merge with a target you can see and assume control of its body, as per the Possession power (Unlimited Power).
Possession (Unlimited Power) With the Range (Perception) and Duration (Continuous) Extras. To represent the 'ultimate' form of this ability, in keeping with the fire metaphor, add Contagious, as fire can spread indefinitely without its original source losing strength as long as it has fuel.

Inferno
(Metaphorical) Fire, Mind, Mystic
Mimic (2) (4) (3/rk)
Extras: None
Flaws: Limited (Only Subjects you are possessing) (-1)
Power Feats: None
Drawbacks: None
Effect: Variable
Action: Standard
Range: Touch
Area: N/A
Duration: Sustained
Saving Throw N/A

You have a pool of 10 power points to allocate to feats that creatures you are possessing have access to.
Lore of the Burning Flame
(Metaphorical) Fire, Mind, Mystic
Variable (2) (2) (3/rk)
Extras: None
Flaws: Limited (Only Subjects you are possessing) (-1), Limited (Only mental skills) (-1)
Power Feats: None
Drawbacks: None
Effect: Variable
Action: Standard
Range: Touch
Area: N/A
Duration: Sustained
Saving Throw N/A

You have a pool of 10 power points to allocate to mental skills that creatures you are possessing have access to.
Forbidden Eternity - Curse of the Hourai Elixir
Alchemy, Angst, Who Wants To Live Forever
Immunity, Regeneration (17) (26) (1/rk)
Extras: True Resurrection (7 Ranks) (+1)
Flaws: None
Power Feats: Persistent, Regrowth
Drawbacks: None
Effect: Alteration
Action: None
Range: Personal
Area: N/A
Duration: Permanent
Saving Throw N/A

The first time one takes it, one cannot become an adult.
Take it twice, and even the pain of sickness will be gone.
Take it three times...

You are immune to aging and automatically revive one minute after dying without need for a recovery check, regardless of how much is left of your body and whether the damage was incurable. You can still starve, be poisoned, or die of some disease, but you automatically wake back up a minute after.
Immunity 1 (Aging); Regeneration 16 (Recovery Bonus 9, True Resurrection 7). Adjust Recovery Bonus rank as necessary for the character's Con mod.
You know the species templates in Mecha & Manga? Here's some for Diclonii from Elfen Lied.
Diclonius, Queen
Abilities: Charisma -4
Powers:
Vectors
Mutant, Psychokinetic
Additional Limbs, Elongation, Super-Strength (6) (16) (1/rk)
Extras: Action (Free - Elongation) (+1) Projection (Additional Limbs) (+1), Duration (Sustained - Additional Limbs) (+0)
Flaws: None
Power Feats: Indirect 3 (Elongation), Subtle 1 (Additional Limbs)
Drawbacks: None
Effect: Alteration
Action: Free
Range: Personal
Area: N/A
Duration: Sustained
Saving Throw N/A

A diclonius queen possesses four telekinetic 'hands' with a reach between 1.5 and 2 metres called vectors. These are invisible to the naked eye, but they can be detected and the queen can choose to alter their wavelength to shift them into the visible spectrum. These vectors are much stronger than normal human arms, and effectively operate at the queen's Str score +10 (add ranks in Super-Strength for even stronger vectors). The vectors can reach through solid objects and bend around people and corners.
Effects associated with vectors include Strike (most of the time when vectors are used, it's to blow someone's head off), Blast (ballpoint pen bullet), Impervious Force Field or Deflection do parry bullets, and Flight with the Low Ceiling drawback. All powers derived from vectors should have the Power Loss drawback for when the vectors turn off (for obvious reasons).

Point Cost: 12

Diclonius, Silpelit (2nd Generation)
Abilities: Charisma -2
Powers: As Queen, but add one rank of Elongation.

Point Cost: 16

Diclonius, Silpelit (3rd Generation)
Abilities: Wisdom -6, Charisma -4
Powers: As Queen, but add three Additional Limbs ranks for 35 vectors total and three ranks of Elongation for an effective range of 11 meters (35 ft.).
Add Autofire to Strike attacks derived from a 3rd-gen Silpelit's vectors to represent the sheer number of vectors.

Point Cost: 18

Note that the number of vectors is only defined in the anime - in the manga, all diclonii have an undefined number of vectors, though Mariko still seems to have more than Lucy or Nana.
Appropiate complications for Diclonii include Hatred (normal humans, mostly), Prejudice (seriously, poor girls), and Temper Murderous Rage.
Also, anyone want to give me tips for statting mechs with M&M rules? Specifically, the mech rules suggest statting special/unique mechs as devices instead, but how do you make your device a vehicle (so that you're in the cockpit and it's the device that's being attacked, not you)?

The simple way to have your device being the one attacked, as opposed to you, is to make the Device grant suitably high Impervious Protection. Remember, M&M damage only counts hits as penalties to your Toughness save.

The complicated way is to have the Device power a Permanent Summon, and have the pilot sit inside enjoying total cover.

Prof. Gildenstern can take on some of the abilities of a dead person whose history and death he knows about. He can allocate 45 pp towards mimicking that person's traits, up to a maximum ranks/bonus of 5 (trade-off of two maximum rank for 10 power points as per UP).
Points: 23

Total: 75 points.

Equipment
Club (Cane with steel grip) 4 points
Light Gun 6 points

This is, on one hand, a sudden flash of inspiration, and on the other hand an early and very simple attempt at emulating ToM-style Pact Magic. "True" pact magic would take one or two minutes to use instead of a Standard action, be Unreliable (1 use), and allow for up to 5 subjects. Vestige influence would be best handled as a complication instead of the Split Personality flaw if you want it to be as minor as it is in ToM, although it does certainly serve well fluff-wise.
Note how this guy's combat stats suck absolute arse. I figure he'd usually run around mimicking a soldier or something for the combat stats most of the time.

Well, hes a fairly potent character, just not in combat(even if hes currently got Attilla the Hun inside him, or Genghis, he just plain lacks enough oomph in the supers sense). A roster of deceased supers would give him quite a lot of flexibility to work with though, for a PL5.

Well, hes a fairly potent character, just not in combat(even if hes currently got Attilla the Hun inside him, or Genghis, he just plain lacks enough oomph in the supers sense). A roster of deceased supers would give him quite a lot of flexibility to work with though, for a PL5.
Well, if I make the Mimic power 45 points up to rank 5 instead, I could channel Heracles for something like Attack Bonus +5, Defense bonus +5, Enhanced Strength 10, Enhanced Constitution 10, and put the remaining five points into any combination of Impervious Toughness, Super-Strength, and combat feats. Seems plenty effective to me. And Heracles is easy to channel with these requirements, since everyone knows his myth. Modern supers would be harder to do, since it would be harder to find out their history and means of death when there hasn't been enough time for a myth to build - and especially if they tend to conceal their identity.

Added Prof. Gildenstern to the OP and added a bomb-type spellcard to the Danmaku post. Yeah, I know there's already a card called "Green-Eyed Monster". If you have a better idea, tell me, if not, shush. ;)

Also, a thought: The 'alternate form' you get through Morph with the Metamorph power feat is considered a wholly independent character with an independent power point total, yes? So pay two or three pp up front for Metamorph, get the Holding Back drawback for Power Level, then give your Metamorph form the same drawback, but for power points. Does this work, or is PL not carried over between forms?

Heh, why not make a series of spellcards themed after the 7 sins then?

Not sure about Power Level though, that's generally a GM dependent matter, as they can push it up or down freely.
I'd let that work myself.

That's exactly what I'm planning. :D I'll be naming seven spellcards after the demon representing each sin according to St. Thomas Aquinas (Leviathan for envy, Satan for wrath, Belphegor for sloth, Asmodeus for Lust, Beelzebub for gluttony, Mammon for greed, and Lucifer for pride). And then, perhaps an eigth one named Eden "Original Sin".

Also, there's a thread on MW discussing interest in a high-level (16-18) campaign. Even if I don't end up applying, I want to brainstorm some ideas. Thoughts for something that would be fun? I've considered adapting Nova to the higher PL, or perhaps making a 'thought controller' with fluff based around the Dantalion vestige and Scion of Dantalion PrC in ToM. Other possibilities include a kinetic or other physics controller turned up to eleven. EDIT: Oh, or a D&D 3.5-style wizard. :D

How about a rune-caster, making use of a lot of Triggered powers to basically set traps all over the place?
Or maybe a space warping character, with a combo platter of spatial manipulation? Distance manipulation, superposition, teleport, null-space opening, portals, dimensional twisters, etc.
Probability manipulator(theming all the 'standard' abilities with the luck descriptor), pulling stuff from alternate timelines, etc.
The mind transcends the body.

I like the space bender idea. Check the link in my edit if you want to.
To be honest, I'd also considered doing an expy of Yukarin, but upon further thought the ability to manipulate boundaries is probably a rank X Variable (anything). :P

Well, any character themed around a fundamental chunk of physics/metaphysics tends to look like that after a while anyway. The space manipulation aspect is particularly interesting at that high PL because of the sheer number of some power feats you can now afford, particularly when encased in a retardedly potent 'wrapper' power like Device or Magic. Extended reach x20? Sure!

Possible abilities:
Teleportation
-Basic high speed teleport-act sequence
-Extending across dimensions(might want to keep this is parallel dimensions to retain sanity)
-Portals, particularly Continuous or Sustained duration ones to completely remap battlefields.
-Superposition, clones, though all of them are you and can get hurt just fine.

Sensory
-Spatial sense, a special form of blindsight that detects their presence by their effect on space itself.
-Scrying/spying by manipulating the nature of distances

Spatial Wizardry(the general insanity you can pull off)
-Dimension rift weapon/blast, generic spatial failure attack, multiple copies of Indirect, Subtle and Affects Insubstantial can be quite appropriate here, along with linked Snare and Nullify effects. If melee, extended reach can get a quite usable range without actually becoming a ranged power(and hence qualify to be Deflected)
-Mirrored/bent space deflection, Imagine if you were a jedi, except your lightsaber is a portal and you have two of them, linked, what goes into one sprays out of the other and can be used to much devastation.
-Telekinetics via modifying relative distances
-Offensive Duplication power, used to split a single enemy into multiple real enemies, which can be then hit multiple times with a single AoE power. Throw in some nausea/dazzle effects to finish the job
-Banishment, boot the opponent into some pocket dimension of yours, where they discover the joys of a pocket world headquarters, heavily, heavily armed. By the time they squeeze out, they'd be pretty battered and the fight over
-Dismemberment, split the spatial coordinates of various body parts of an opponent across an area, grossing everyone out.
-Telefrag attacks, take object and insert into uncomfortable part of opponent
-Summon body part attacks, pull the opponent's <insert precious body part> into your hand, and play with it.
-Nail to Space, a snare anchored to the fabric of reality itself. Twisted so you beat yourself up when you beat on it.
-Infinite Distance force fields, stretch a millimeter of space into a few light years wide expanses as a force field, things that hit the  barrier are shunted to some other place and time. Attaching a banishing effect to a protective power could mean dumping all the attacks you block into hell or something, greatly cheering up the natives.
-Confusion and nausea when you make reality look like an Escher painting.

Those are just the more overt toys you could play with, Create Object could come into play, by simply summoning an appropriate object to hand. Uncontrolled summons likewise. But those are uncommon enough that you can just blow hero points on them when needed.
The mind transcends the body.

Cool. You already hit most of the effects I'd thought of, here's a few more.
-Black hole (Explosion Damage or something) effect. Bend space into a hole as a black hole would and eradicate cities.
-Stun by messing around with space in the target's body, like stretching nerve fibers to wack out the target's mental reactions.
-Perhaps either Conceal, an Obscure zone, or a sort of illusion to make it look I'm in a different place by bending space so light doesn't reach a certain point/area or so it looks like it's coming from the wrong point in space.
-Hell, Move Object by making it exist in two places at once as per Duplication... where the second place is somewhere with strong gravity, pulling in the direction I want the object to go. FAKEEDIT: You already brought up Telekinesis, though with a different justification. Yours possibly works better.
-Flight could be achieved in the same way.
-An Autofire attack by duplicating objects and telefragging an opponent with them; or porting them to somewhere really high, letting them accelerate to terminal velocity, and porting them back.

Various Summon powers can be added as power stunts, if only so I can pull this.

EDIT: The ad is up now, so here's the exact specs.
Quote
PL17 (255PP). Characters must be human and from Earth.
The characters are freshmen at the Academy so ages 16-18 would be most appropiate. It is possible to have characters younger, to do so however you will need to sell it extraordinarily well.

As far as sources go I only have the M&M2e Core Rulebook. However, I don't want my lack of books limiting the characters so Ultimate Power is also allowed. If you are intending on utilising something from Ultimate Power please put it and its description in spoilers or PM it to me. I will say no to some things so don't be under the impression that if you tell me what it is you get to use it.

[ list of pre-restricted powers, none of which I was planning to use]

Try to keep the number of alternate powers reasonable.

Ah, the good old vague "keep it reasonable". I have no idea how many alternates that means, but I'll have to cut some of the more exotic ones and use power stunts when I need them instead.
