It specifically says it ignores the restriction for armor and natural armor. He just quoted that.

And yes, it functions like the Mighty part of a composite bow.
Yes, I read that before quoting him. It's just one of those things you have to read for yourself though. I was merely confirming it.

Weird. I never knew that about whips before. Then again you don't really see too many NPCs with them listed.
Gotcha, my bad.

They don't/haven't, was the point. 3.5 is as dead as people not liking nice tits.

Sometimes, their tits (3.5) get enhancements (houserules), but that doesn't mean people don't like nice tits.

Though sometimes, the surgeon (DM) botches them pretty bad...

It should be noted that back in 3.0 the Whip was actually considered to be a ranged weapon (ergo the Mighty portion), but in 3.5 it's considered a reach melee weapon, which happens to provoke AoOs for using adjacent like a ranged weapon does.
Gendou Ikari is basically Gregory House in Kaminashades. This is FACT.

but whips do not actually grant reach.  they seem to work like a melee attack at range.

Q 67 Are there any good variant rules for stabilizing and adding more death threshold points to your character because the d% roll and CON+HD or the standard -10 you're dead?

Q 68 Are there any items that automatically stabilize you?

blessed bandages are 10gp each, and auto stabilize, but need another to use them.  rageclaws increase the death threshhold by 3hp/essentia. blood magus auto stabilizes, as does fatespinner. I think death delver does too.

a source of fast healing would work too; vigor it up.

In the campaign I'm in, I think I'd be lucky if I got the blessed bandages. :eh Us getting fast healing doesn't exist other than for monsters in this particular campaign.

I definitely remembered that one, and have even brought it up "for consideration", but considering the psionics handbook isn't allowed, I'm thinking this won't be either.

Ug fourth try: Does this really deserve a thread?
Q17: Does Aerenal beastmaster + Devoted Tracker = +3EDL after ditching the baboon? I'm thinking no, but...
You know, it would probably help if you posted RAW text here because people are usually lazy to search for obscure rules. And baboons are not exactly something that piques one's interest.

Anyway, Aerenal Beastmaster (RoE, 105)

I don't think anyone can read this in a way that would apply the +3 bonus to non-baboon animal companion.

I would assume so, druids have quite a lot of fun with cryohydras and frozen wildshape.

Could make them yourselves, since they are only a 10 gp item. Or maybe commision someone in a town to do it.

The blessed bandages shouldn't be too much of an issue. We've got the gold, and the church is usually where we get healing kits anyways. If I commissioned someone, it might take a month. It's all about realism. Like how a masterwork composite longbow took a year to make back in medieval times, so therefore that's close to how long it'll take in his world. What book are the bandages in?

It's a 10 gp magic item, it should take, at most, 1 day per bandage, because of the 1kgp progress/day thing.

Also, it should take 13 weeks to make a masterwork composite longbow for an average craftsman...

And what reference is your DM using for that bow time? I've only ever seen historical accounts of infinitely less time than 1 year for a good longbow...

Q 70: What methods are there in official D&D books to gain the Giant type?

The only two I can think of right now are:

Half-Troll template (Fiend Folio)
One of the two or three construct templates + Incarnate Construct + being Large
Half-ogre template from Dragon mag doesn't cut it for me
Do you need a way to gain the type on an already existing character (looks like it), or is being a race with the Giant type okay? There's a few of those.
Would PAO work?

Q71:  I've been told that if you are on the ethereal plane, you can pick up a Ghost Touch weapon that is on the material plane and attack people on the material plane with it.  Is there any way to have both you and your weapons on the ethereal plane and still make melee or ranged attacks at people on the Material?

Looking for ways to make other creatures into giants.  For things like Primordial Giant, for instance, as well as just being able to do it. (Wow, that monster is cool! I'd like to make that into a giant for my homebrewed world... kinda thing)  Just wanting something in the rules to do it, if possible.
