Finances might not be in the works for me after all, but depending on where the final plans our for the BG meeting up, I may still be able to hang out at that.

I though I was going, but now I am not so sure.  When it came time to register for a hotel room, my job sent me out of town from 11:30 am to 5 p.m., so I missed the very limited window to register for a hotel down town.  A friend of mine at a company that reserved 85 rooms (they have a major event at Gencon) said they should have extra rooms, and I can use one of the one they reserved but don't need (the always get more then they think they will need and then drop the rooms once they know for sure), but three weeks ago they sent me an email about the room, and when I said I would take it I never heard back.

So I have registered for the con, registered for events, even have two events I am suppose to run, but since I don't have a place to stay, I don't know if I am going.

Hyatt charges $10/day for internet. Hence, no internet for me while at the con. Hence, no notifications of the cool stuff.  Last time *I* stay at the Hyatt. Cheapskate bastiches.   :wall
