That logic does not work. Undead can be psionic, and can even use Mind-affecting powers on other creatures. They just can't use them on themselves.

Then Telepathy is only one way. And if it's only one way, it's not 'reading.' And Mindblank still doesn't block it.

I think.

Telepathy IS one way only. Always was, as far as I know. That's why all the Telepathic Bond spells have several targets and not just one, for instance. That said, I think Telepathy is an intrusion into a person's mind, and should be blocked by Mind Blank (and is blocked by it in all games I'd played in).
Read, every day, something no one else is reading. Think, every day, something no one else is thinking. Do, every day, something no one else would be silly enough to do. It is bad for the mind to be always part of unanimity.

I hereby nominate telepathy for the position of runner-up to the worst ever written ability, right after manipulate form.

Frankly, I still can't fathom how this feat allows you to know the creatures location based on the fact that they are thinking, and allow you to know their Intelligence score and simultaneously not fall under the purview of detecting their thoughts.

At the very least the RAI on this vs Mind Blank is pretty clear, isn't it?

Oh yeah, definitely. It is a big slip-up that Telepathy isn't labeled as Mind-Affecting, which should carry over to this feat, and make both much more sensible. This is the way I rule it in games I DM.

Telepathy

A creature with this ability can communicatetelepathic conversation with more than one creature at a time is just as difficult as simultaneously speaking and listening to multiple people at the same time.

Some creatures have a limited form of telepathy, while others have a more powerful form of the ability.

while not explicit this implies that telepathy is 2 way.

I agree, and allow it to be 2-way in games I run. The current party in my Fall of Pun-Pun game uses a telepathic minion as basically a hands-free communication network. :D

All of that is also completely open to interpretation.

I can "communicate" with anyone over any distance by sending them a letter.  As we all know letters are not two-way.  You have to send an entirely different letter back if you would like to respond to the message you just received.

Likewise, a conversation would involve two or more people who share a spoken language conducting a verbal exchange.  So it could follow that a telepathic conversation can only occur between two creatures that both possess telepathy and wish to conduct a telepathic exchange.  Or you could assume that one person with telepathy can serve as a switching station between several other minds and allow a telepathic conversation between several people even if he is the only actual telepath present.

Definately much :banghead to be had here.

There is more to support it being 2 way than 1 way. I see nothing that implies it is 1 way.

I think the switchboard is a little off as the one with telepathy would have to repeat anything they heard to the others for them to hear it. But as you said much  :banghead to go around because they can't clearly state things.

So, now the ultimate sneaker is an incorporeal/ethereal God-blooded (Vecna) Beguiler (ShS) Unseelie Fey Chameleon Dark Shadow-walker Shadow Lolth-touched Mulhorandi Divine Minion "Warlock" base class/"Hellbreaker" PrC with the "Darkstalker" feat, "Wall of Gloom" invocation to evade the "Touchsight" power, and plenty of Dust of Disappearance. (Did I cover all my tracks/traces?) OneWingedAngel would argue that you can use "Silent Image" to produce the same effect, obsolescing the other spell.

In fact, the stealthiest is to not exist via Shadow Discorporation of the Telflammar Shadowlord, but that has immediate downsides...

So, now the ultimate hider (I want a better word) will be a Vecna-blooded Chameleon Beguiler (ShS) Warlock/Hellbreaker with the Darkstalker feat and "Wall of Gloom" invocation to prevent "Touchsight". Or, as OneWingedAngel would argue, use "Silent Image" to produce the same effect...

You forgot incorporeality.  That removes Touchsight (though not Transdimensional Touchsight) and Listen from the equation.
I am constantly amazed by how many DM's ban Tomb of Battle.  The book doesn't even exist!

Or, rather, ethereality.

Transdimensional as adapted?

Dognamdit! I don't want to use the Ghost savage progression template class! It's hard to get accepted due to the fluff prerequisite. It's already difficult with the Evil alignment of being a God-blooded of Vecna.

While the topic of telepathy is raised, is there any reason that Mindlink is a 1st lvl power and Rary's Telepathic Bond, is 5th lvl despite the fact that they are the same spell?

because they realized people didn't want to spend a 5th level slot on it?
