It's for an NPC, so you know how it gets.  :smirk
Failing the above:
Use Shielded Casting or the like? Have Total Concealment/Cover to prevent Targeting? Counterspell? Teleport?
Translocation Trick + False Theurgy?  :D
Read, every day, something no one else is reading. Think, every day, something no one else is thinking. Do, every day, something no one else would be silly enough to do. It is bad for the mind to be always part of unanimity.

depends on what he is doing with it. an absurdly high concentration mod will REALLY piss off the players, if, say, he is using it to greater insightful strike...

Q152 one of the players just got all his equipment dissolved by some gelatinous cube type creature.  That included his spellbook, I know there's some trick involving 2 books and scribing spells into both of them but one page is fake or an illusion or something and then copying it to the other book.  Trying to remember how that's done or a way to get his spells scribed in relatively quickly/cheaply.
Secret Page. The way it is written, you could argue that you could scribe spells for free.

A more reasonable interpretation would just let you make two spellbooks for the price of one, basically (or fill half your book for free, and have it only take up half as much space as normal).

You scribe one scroll spell for real, and then use Secret Page to put the contents of a second spell on the same page(s) without paying for it. Of course, if your book ever gets Dispelled, you lose all those "free" ones.

As for creatures that do that: http://www.d20srd.org/srd/monsters/ooze.htm#grayOoze
Would like to point out that, per the magic weapon and armor entries, you cannot damage them unless using a magical weapon or attack to deal damage. You could theoretically argue that a spellbook is magical writing, per the Read Magic spell, but armor, shields, weapons if magical should be safe.

Do you have the page number for that ruling so I can show it to the DM

Sometimes, their tits (3.5) get enhancements (houserules), but that doesn't mean people don't like nice tits.

Got a trifecta this time....
Q 158: Do you need BAB +6 to fight with two weapons?

Q 159: If above answer is no, then are the penalties for someone using two weapons with the Two weapon fighting and Improved two weapon fighting feats -2/-2 and then -2/-5?

Q 160: Are there any ways in 3.5 to improve an Assassin's Death Attack DC?

Gloves of Murder (DotU) are another +2 DC.

A158: No, you don't. Doesn't matter what your BAB is. BAB determines your Attack Bonus and your Iterative Attacks, not the number of weapons.

A159: IIRC, that's -2/-2, only to become -2/-2/-7 with ITWF.

A158: No
A159: Page 160, Table 8-10, Player's Handbook for the primary attacks. Additional off-hand iterative attacks (via imp twf, greater twf, etc) follow the same rules for normal attacks: Each additional iterative is made at an additional -5 (ie, off-hand attack one has standard twf penalties, off-hand attack two has standard twf penalties and another -5, three is standard with another -10, etc.).

A158: No. When wielding two weapons, you get an additional attack from your off-hand at your highest BAB when performing a full attack. That's it.

Q159: Actually, it's more like -2/-2/-7/-7.

Quote from: Player's Handbook page 96
In addition to the standard single extra attack you get with an offhand weapon, you get a second attack with it, albeit at a -5 penalty
So the -5 penalty is only on the second off-hand attack granted by the ITWF feat. Going by the table for TWF that would make it -2/-2/-2/-5.
Q 160: Are there any ways in 3.5 to improve an Assassin's Death Attack DC?

The description in the DMG doesn't list it as (su), or anything else for that matter. And the Rogue Sneak Attack entry doesn't either
A160:Ability Focus: Death Attack is one
Where is this found?

Ability Focus

Since every listing of Sneak Attack and Death Attack outside the Player's Handbook and Dungeon Master's Guide is Extraordinary, it would follow that the same is true for the Rogue and Assassin class features.

Not quite, it would be -2 (main hand attack 1)/-2 (off hand attack 1)/-7 (main hand attack 2)/-7 (off hand attack 2).

Assuming you are wielding a light weapon in your off hand, otherwise increase those penalties by another -2 unless you have the Oversized Two-Weapon Fighting feat.
